Note: Object DB is a commercial software. Using it requires purchasing a license. You may download and use Object DB before purchasing a license for evaluation purposes. Evaluation is not limited by time, but there is a restriction of maximum 10 entity classes and one million entity objects per database file. You will have to purchase a license in order to remove these restrictions.

Getting Started

Object DB is very easy to use. Follow the Getting Started Tutorial and the Quick Tour manual chapter and in minutes you may be able to write and run first Java programs against Object DB.

Prior knowledge or experience in database programming (SQL, JDBC, ORM, JPA, etc.) is not required, but some background in using the Java language is essential.
