Removing an entity throws exception

Hi all, I'm testing ObjectDB for my project, but I have troubles with it. At this time I'm not able to remove customer entity, when it's read by a query (it's attached), it throws this exception: Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.RuntimeException: com.objectdb.o._RollbackException: Failed to commit transaction: 51 ... #1 2011-06-08 14:02 Hi all, I'm testing ObjectDB for my project, but I have troubles with it. Indexing a field results in internal Exception

I have an application that I have been converting from JPA/MySQL to JDO/ObjectDB and I have hit a problem with indexing. An index on a String field is required to give good performance but if I add the @Index annotation to the field I eventually end up with an ObjectDB internal exception.  This is reproducible, as is the program running to completion (slowly) if I remove the @Index annotation.  Is there anything I can look for that might result in this exception? #1 2013-04-21 20:40 I have an application that I have been converting from JPA/MySQL to JDO/ObjectDB and I have hit a problem with in ...

Pessimistic Lock Timeouts setting

Hi,   I realise that JPA2 doesn't necessarily define a standard API way for Lock Timeouts. However, there is a standardised query 'hint' that can be setup to make the underlying DB lock a record for a specific time. The hint property is: "javax.persistence.lock.timeout" #1 2011-04-29 04:30 Hi,   I realise that JPA2 doesn't necessarily define a standard API way for Lock Timeouts. Howev ...

Memory consumption of empty Strings

After doing some memory related research in my program, I found a possible place for an enhancement of objectdb: My program has several entities which contain many String. Often some of these String are empty (""). To avoid unnecessary memory consumption, the String within the entities are initialized like: String firstName = ""; #1 2014-01-02 12:04 After doing some memory related research in my program, I found a possible place for an enhancement of objectdb: ...
