Given a mappedBy association: e.g: @OneToMany(mappedBy="department") public List <Employee> employees;   creating a new mapped class, e.g. new Employee, won't result in this object being available in the same transaction: ie: for (Employee e : department.employee) won't include the new object, even if it is persisted, and even if the transaction is committed??  ... from the database (and not from the persistence context cache), or refresh is invoked. JBOSS AS7 7.1.1 - Entity not persisted and createNamedQuery fire exception

I'm trying to have the guestbook example running in the following environment: jboss as 7.1.1 final oracle jdk 1.7.0_04 maven 3.0.4 objectdb 2.4.0_04 installed as a module of jboss No IDE is used for building the Guestbook.war only maven.   My GuestDAO code is as follows: ... Guest still dont get persisted. No exception either. Some cache misconfiguration ?   As for the NamedQuery problem ... Maybe some configuration can be done at JTA or cache level of JBoss in the jboss configuration file or persistence.xml file ? ...
