How to resolve 404 errors with Eclipse/Maven Spring MVC

I have created a project as guided by www.objectdb.com/tutorial/jpa/eclipse/spring/run. When I abandon eclipse and use the maven command line to deploy this Spring MVC web app to jetty and point my browser to localhost:8080/Guestbook/ it works as your tutorial says! ... eclipse was giving me, I commented out the com.objectdb.Enhancer. Is this optional when deploying with eclipse instead of maven? I ... Enhancement  (using com.objectdb.Enhancer or other method) is optional, but improves performance. You ...

Multi-thread access to single EM's entities

If my entity classes have synchronized getters and setters, is it reliable for multiple threads to access a single EM's managed entities, as long as only the thread that created the EM interacts directly with it?  I've tested this and it seems to work... but I know better than to depend on the observable behavior of multithreaded code. When I run this example and examine the database, the entity contains the value set by the second thread, as expected.   #1 2012-04-09 02:22 If my entity classes have synchronized getters and setters, is it reliable for multiple threads to access a singl ...

Unexpected NoSuchFieldError exception

Hi, suddenly running into a number of issues:   1) no-arg constructor (error 352) 2) java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: __odbTracker 3) Attempt to start a transaction while another transaction is running. ObjectDB's Database Doctor Incorrect Error Report

Am I reading this correctly?  It seems that Doctor is telling me that one of my objects is missing.  Looking at the database with ObjectDB's Database Explorer though seems to show that the reference to the object is good and that the object does indeed exist.   Output from Doctor Diagnose and Doctor Repair is attached.  So are the two databases and screenshots of Explorer showing the reference to the object and the existence of the object. #1 2016-08-13 16:33 Am I reading this correctly?  It seems that Doctor is telling me that one of my objects is missing.  Lo ...

ODB-FileWriter holds unecessary entity reference after transaction and entity manager are closed

Hello, we've encountered a problem leading to memory leaks. We found that after closing a transaction (including the entity manager) the ODB file writer still holds a reference to entities. Performing similar calls repeatedly hence increases the number of references to entities not longer needed in the application context. This prevents the garbage collector from cleaning up the memory which eventually results in memory leaks. The attached screenshot shows an example of this behaviour. Thanks in advance for your help.
