Performance problem

Hi, we have a strange performance problem with ObjectDB 2.5.3_01 and JBoss 7.1.1. We have two ObjectDB databases on one ObjectDB server. Production database is running 5-10 times slower than test database. Their size and number of records are almost identical. When running production database in separate test environment its speed is very good. We did a performance analysis on our 2 linux servers one running JBOSS and other running ObjectDB. - CPU utilization of JBOSS server is max 5-10% (per core)... the interesting part, when running a query from ObjectDB explorer CPU utilization is minimal ie. 1% Running a query from ObjectDB explorer on complete database which has 12000 records takes 30ms which we think ...

Class loading problem with private packages in OSGi environment

Our Business Objects are the JPA entities. We develop our product domain driven. This means we have several domains. Each domain is split into business layer and persistence layer (others are not relevant here). Per domain and per layer, we have an OSGI bundles. The business layer should have no dependency down (an exception is the dependency to the ObjectDB for the enhanced entities).  The persistence Layers have a dependency to the business layer and to the central DataAccess Layer.... now we can't open the database file with the ObjectDB Explorer. Can you also customize the Explorer that it ignore missing implemented interfaces and field types? ...

Problem with 'where' and date()

Hi, Today I was playing with some date-range queries in explorer and found a small problem. When you try to use queries like this: SELECT o from TestObject o where o.date > :someDate where o.date is java.util.Date, 'where' doesn't work as it should. Results are not filtered by date. There is no such problem in code because we can set Date() object as parameter. However this is hard in explorer. You can find UTC attached to this post.   ...
