'DROP TABLE' in ODB?

Let's say I no longer need some entity in my project and after deleting all the objects of this type in database I want to remove this type from schema. How can I do this? Slow searching with two indexes

I'm running queries on a large database (tens of millions of objects), and I'm running into a performance problem using two indexes.  An entity I'm querying has two indexed fields - one is the primary key (id) and so is different for each object, and the other is an object reference that only has a few tens of different values.   When I query by just the primary key, it's (of course) extremely fast, but when I also query using the other key, queries can take minutes.... Cast exception?

Somehow I am unable to persist an entity class I wrote with manual @Id. I have a small Player class and I wish to store it with user ID as the primary key. Web Framework Recommendation for leveraging JPA + ObjectDB

Hello dear ObjectDB Community ! First of all let me tell You: I am glad that I have revisited ObjectDB just recently; because with its newly added JPA compliance and affordability, it seems like a natural match to me. I have the following understanding: If I persist standardly against JPA/JDO, I can switch Persistence Engines as I see fit later on ! So that I can easily switch to a true OODBMS like ObjectDB, for instance. ... leverages the JPA standard, but seems to be tied somehow into the Hibernate ORM. slow performance for a complex query

Hi, We have a query that is constructed dynamically, an example is like this: SELECT DISTINCT $1 FROM CDI $1, Organisation $2, Organisation $3 WHERE ((UPPER($1.cdiId) LIKE 'THREAD14%') AND ((($1.parentOrgId='news') OR (($1.parentOrgId=$2.organisationId) AND ($2.parentOrgId='news'))) OR ((($1.parentOrgId=$3.organisationId) AND ($3.parentOrgId=$2.organisationId)) AND ($2.parentOrgId='news')))) I've also tried running the CDI query first and passing the results into the organisation query as follows: ... tried running the CDI query first and passing the results into the organisation query as follows: SELECT DISTINCT $1 ... LEFT JOIN FETCH over empty embedded collection returns no results

First of all, thank you for promptly implementing JOIN FETCH over nested paths in response to my inquiry a few months ago. However, I have run into one problem: if an embedded collection is empty, but I attempt to LEFT JOIN FETCH all the members of a collection within a (non-existent) member of the first collection, the result of the overall query is an empty set. How to track memory leak with ObjectDb.

Hello, I suspect some memory leak in my application. ( turning app into OOM very fast ) In fact, some com.objectdb.o.MST objects are retaining a huge % of my heap space. While watching the dump file ( with Eclipse MAT ), i was not able to inspect carrefully the memory leak issue. That's is very hard to debug because of obfuscated objectdb code.
