Performance problem

Hi, we have a strange performance problem with ObjectDB 2.5.3_01 and JBoss 7.1.1. We have two ObjectDB databases on one ObjectDB server. Production database is running 5-10 times slower than test database. Their size and number of records are almost identical. When running production database in separate test environment its speed is very good. We did a performance analysis on our 2 linux servers one running JBOSS and other running ObjectDB. - CPU utilization of JBOSS server is max 5-10% (per core)... Unexpected Exception during commit

I'm testing code that otherwise has been working with a clean database. I have seen several examples of the following exception. It never seems to happen in the same place twice, though. If you can give me a hint as to what would internally cause this, I'll try to reproduce it. Carl   ... Reply Please read carefully the posting instructions - before posting to ...

Redeployment in GlassFish - Failed to open file

Hi. I am facing a problem with the redeployment of the application in GlassFish. I can deploy my application in GlassFish for the first time and it works. Once I need to redeploy it after making some changes in the source codes, the following errors come up in the GlassFish Log. It seems that the database file is still in use. I have highlighted the cause by red color. How I can release the database file for redeployment? Every time, I need to stop the server, start it again and redeploy the application. it is very troublesome during development.... First query takes 4+ minutes to complete

Hi, we are evaluating ObjectDB 2.5.1_04 in embedded mode hoping to replace SQLite in our application. We observed that in our case it takes on average more than 4 minutes to complete the first SELECT query that we run on the DB which contains about 320,000 records of a single type of object. SQLite in comparison responds within few seconds on average with the same number of records. We hope to receive your recommendation on how to improve this result with this post.   Test System ... Glassfish 4 AbstractMethodError: com.objectdb.jpa.EMF.createEntityManager

Hi! I've been trying to get Glassfish 4 (Java EE 7) work with ObjectDB the whole day. It seems to be an error. The same code (adapted to Java EE 6) works perfect in Glassfish 3.1.2.2. I attached the samples as NetBeans projects, so that you could check easier. 1 for GF3 (6) and 1 for GF4 (7). Thanks! ... ClassCastException on SELECT NEW ... after UPDATE over Java RMI

Hi, we are using ObjectDB 2.5.4_04 on Linux. Our application, which uses ObjectDb as a DB, exposes a Java RMI interface which allows remote RMI clients to run JPQL queries on the DB.
