Internal Exception and Index Problems

Dear Support Team, we have an urgent issue in a productive database. The objectdb doctor finds no error but one string field of one database item is not editable (even not using the objectdb explorer). The corrupt entry is in entity "UserModelData" with id="7d29d5eb-69a6-4d46-9bf1-802cbb6e439b". Try to change the userName attribute of this entry then the following error occurs: ... lines (e.g. Java code , stack trace ) - select a style in the toolbar and then insert the text in the new created ...

Working with a cleared cache

I'm working on trying to improve the performance of our database processing class and I'm attempting to keep the L1 cache within the PersistenceManager cleared in an effort to reduce its memory footprint. The code snippet below is part of a Callable task that is run repeatedly with a given list of commands. When I run the code as written I start getting the stack traces that are listed.  However, if I comment out the calls to makeTransactionalAll() and evictAll() everything works.... lines (e.g. Java code , stack trace ) - select a style in the toolbar and then insert the text in the new created ...

File lock exception on odb$

Not sure if this is an objectdb issue or not but I thought I'd raise it just in case. We had a server failure which caused an unexpected reboot. As a result, the application services which use objectdb were not shutdown properly which in turn meant we had several odb$ files left behind. I had assumed that objectdb would reprocess these when the services restarted but instead we got the exception below. ... lines (e.g. Java code , stack trace ) - select a style in the toolbar and then insert the text in the new created ...

NegativeArraySizeException on commiting a transaction

Hi, we started to get a java.lang.NegativeArraySizeException from ObjectDB upon changing an object in the DB and committing the transaction. I tried to repair the DB file with Database Doctor, but the same error is happening also on the fixed DB file. Btw. during fixing the DB file an Internal error was thrown (details here: http://www.objectdb.com/database/issue/285 ), but the fixing went on and created a new file. ... lines (e.g. Java code , stack trace ) - select a style in the toolbar and then insert the text in the new created ...

Filename.odb$ Persisting Issue

Hi, I seem to have a frequent issue with my Filename.odb$ remaining in my /db directory after my program terminates which prevents me from running my program again due to a persistence error thrown by Eclipse. I can't seem to manually terminate the file either. I usually have to fully close Eclipse and wait a bit for it to remove itself. Any ideas why this happens?
