Can't post on your forum

Since yesterday, I can't post on the forum because it always says that I should log in in order to do that. I was already logged in, but, anyway, it appeared as not. I go to log in, then I authenticate, then I'm redirected to the home page, but it still looks that I'm not logged in, so I can't post on the forum. I tried removing the cookies, but nothing. I tried in another browser, but the same. I have new bugs to post, so it's pretty important. #1 2014-05-22 09:21 Since yesterday, I can't post on the forum because it always says that I should log in in order to do that. ...

Connection is closed Caused by: java.io.EOFException

I am getting this exception on a regular basis, after a period of time of repeating the same code execution.  I don't understand why.  I restart the DB server and my code works again for another period of time until same exception is encountered again.  I cannot pin down a pattern e.g. after a certain period of time,  because the time  periods between exceptions are not regular, although frequent.  Any test case  I use will pass most of the time but will fail after an undetermined period. ... /> <!-- <replication url="objectdb://localhost/test.odb;user=admin;password=admin" /> --> ...

Compare old and new schema

Hello, I have an old database file with important data. Over time, I have modified some of the entity classes but did not keep track of the changes. Some fields may have been renamed or removed, some classes may have been renamed or changed package. Is there a way for me to check what "format" the entity classes have in the old database file and compare that with the new classes definitions?   Thanks, farid ... with. To do so, I create a new URLClassLoader with a URL pointing to the folder containing my Class hierarchy like so:  ...

Explorer in 2.3

First, the new Explorer in ObjectDB is fantastic! This is exactly what we've needed - an easy way to do ad-hoc JPQL queries and navigate through the results and even make small changes to primitive data and Strings. After playing with it for a while, here is a list of additional features I'd love to have: 1. Export of selected data: a. Simple - Select a range of cells or a column header and copy text to the clipboard or save to a file (csv, html, etc..). (There appear to be copy menu options, but I cannot get them to work.) ... Auto-login of last opened (remote) database puts the full URL into the Database Path field, when it should be only the database path. ...

File lock exception on odb$

Not sure if this is an objectdb issue or not but I thought I'd raise it just in case. We had a server failure which caused an unexpected reboot. As a result, the application services which use objectdb were not shutdown properly which in turn meant we had several odb$ files left behind. I had assumed that objectdb would reprocess these when the services restarted but instead we got the exception below. ... is : <property name="javax.persistence.jdbc.url" value="$objectdb://localhost:8080/db/guests.odb"/>   ... not the same problem, but just an error due to an invalid url specified. First query takes 4+ minutes to complete

Hi, we are evaluating ObjectDB 2.5.1_04 in embedded mode hoping to replace SQLite in our application. We observed that in our case it takes on average more than 4 minutes to complete the first SELECT query that we run on the DB which contains about 320,000 records of a single type of object. SQLite in comparison responds within few seconds on average with the same number of records. We hope to receive your recommendation on how to improve this result with this post.   Test System ... inactivity-timeout = "0" /> <url-history size = "50" user = "true" password = "true" ... /> <!-- <replication url="objectdb://localhost/test.odb;user=admin;password=admin" /> ...
