@Convert is not supported?

Does objectdb jpa implementation support @Convert annotation? (convertion of property before persistance and vice versa)   for example @Convert(converter = MyConverter.class) private Date date;   I've wrote a test on this, and seems that my Converters methods are not executed at all (like annotation doesent exist) ... missing something (cos i have no other option than to write some shitcode) edit ...

Performance and memory usage of queries

Hello, we can't understand why the performance of queries is not the best and the execution requires so much memory. In the implementation of our UnitTests we have used "DELETE FROM Object" to delete the database. That did not work because we often get an "out of memory" exception. What's all done in the execution of queries? Why is so much memory is required, although from the application point of view, no object is loaded. #1 2015-03-10 09:22 Hello, we can't understand why the performance of queries is not the best and the execution requires ...

Compile time enhancement using build.xml of a Netbeans web application

Does anybody have a complete, working example of the adaptations required in the build.xml of a Netbeans web application project to specify ObjectDB compile time enhancement, for both single file and whole project compilation ? The ObjectDB 2.3 manual gives the following tip: ... Compile-on-Save seems to use the internal compiler to write .sig files, rather than .class files, to the NetBeans cache, and ...

Blocked by find

I have a container object which wraps an objectdb database. There is a "putIfAbsent(String id, Object obj)" method which is synchronized and attempts to load an object by id using the EntityManager "find" method. If nothing is returned from the db the passed object is persisted to the db. I have 5 threads which use this method. In a run today one of the threads seems to have got stuck somewhere in the find. The thread dump looks like: ... If the cache is not used (e.g. in code that only write new objects and never read) caching more data just burdens the JVM ...
