coonection pooling

Hi, is it possible to implement a mechanism in object db which redirects a particular user to its database. For example we have an ObjecDB server with 100 databases. On our Jboss server we have a single deployed application with 100 users. Depending on the logged user it will connect to different database when quering the ObjectDB. can we use persistence.xml to define this connection routing or, according to this scheme http://www.objectdb.com/java/jpa/persistence/overview , EntityManagerFactory would be responsible for this operation. ... How to do an Offline Database Backup?

These are questions asked in the context of the proposed architecture described in the forum thread titled, "Sample JDO Architecture for Follow Up Questions".   I desire offline backups.  I must close all connections, wait for current database activity to stop, and prevent new connections until the backup is complete.  How can I guarantee that a database is no longer being used?  I think I can do so by trying to call PersistenceManagerFactory.close(), and keep trying, until it no longer throws any JDOUserExceptions. ... Monitoring and Performance counters

After checking last patch from build 2.1.1_01, I started to think about some kind o monitoring tools in ODB. Those tools could look similar to MySQL 'show innodb status', where you can get some informations about how DB is doing. It would be nice to monitor: - inserts/s, updates/s, deletes/s, reads/s - total inserts, update, deletes, reads - I/O operations/s - caches current usage - uptime from last start - caches hit rate - total sessions from clients ... A bug in the JDOQL processor in recent versions of ObjectDB

There seems to be a bug in the JDOQL processor in recent versions of ObjectDB. I've uploaded a "laptop" example to demonstrate the problem. The query in Test1.main should return "ThinkMachine MAX SX 20", but it returns incorrect "Media Central Media 555". Earlier versions (at least up to 2.5.4) correctly return "ThinkMachine MAX SX 20".
