SSL Problem

Hello, I have a problem to use the server with ssl. I have created the certificate using this command: keytool-genkeypair-dname "cn = Mark Jones, ou = JavaSoft, o = Sun, c = U.S."-alias business-keypass kpi135-keystore-storepass mykeystore ab987c-validity 180 Then I put in the configuration file objectdb: #1 2012-12-16 11:51 Hello, I have a problem to use the server with ssl. enhancement issue

Hi, still struggling with the enhancement issue. So, this works fine in development: static void main ( String[] args ) {     com.objectdb.Enhancer.enhance ( "app.model.*" ) ....   } } But in deployment, when the jar files is made with ShadowJar, this error occurs at runtime: #1 2017-10-12 03:20 Hi, still struggling with the enhancement issue. Extended mapping-definitions

The described feature is not available in any object-db I know, but possible with mapping to a relational DB, for example with Hibernate.   By default every entity of the real world (respectively its class) gets mapped to a java class. So cats get mapped to the java class 'Cat', dogs to 'Dog' and so on. In the project for which I'm evaluating objectDB, there 1.) will be hundreds of classes and 2.) not all classes are known at project start (an editor). #1 2013-04-11 17:04 The described feature is not available in any object-db I know, but possible with mapping to a relational DB, for ...

Some details about db behavior

Suppose I have two entities... A B -> A B has a ManyToOne relationship with A. When my database is empty and I persist a valid B entity (that contains actual A reference) I observe some behaviour that I'm not sure I understand. #1 2014-06-26 15:16 Suppose I have two entities... Failed to enhance dynamic type

Hi, We are trying to enhance a class with OSGI Weaver using the JEnhancer.THIS instance as a class transformer. Works very well except for some entities, i.e. we do have an entity which has: @Override public String getQubletHeadingMain(LanguageContext context) This is a simple implementation of our custom interface and should of course, NOT be enhanced. Yet, we get an error due enhancing: Failed to generate dynamic type com.quasado.galaxy.foundation.api.language.LanguageContext #1 2011-11-16 08:41 Hi, We are trying to enhance a class with OSGI Weaver using the JEnhancer.THIS instance as a class transf ...

SelfTest and com.objectdb.Doctor

Dear Objectdb-Team We're really pleased with objectdb. Nevertheless we would like to ask for an 'extra' feature. The class 'com.objectdb.Doctor' enables a self-test for a given Database. We would like to make a self-test before every start of the database (i.e. the server). In case of fails or errors we would like to repair the database and/or inform the customer. #1 2015-10-29 10:27 Dear Objectdb-Team We're really pleased with objectdb. ObjectDB stability after power failure

I'm considering using ObjectDB in a system that is going to be running continuously without support instantly available for many years.  How stable is ObjectDB when it comes to power failures and unattended restarts?  Is database integrity maintained during such events?  I have seen database vendors perform 'kick the plug out' demonstrations of how their product will survive power failures.  Is ObjectDB suitably robust that it won't fail in such situations?    #1 2014-05-21 00:39 I'm considering using ObjectDB in a system that is going to be running continuously without support instantly ...

Is an objectdb.conf required when providing test case projects here?

I am not sure whether it is mentioned anywhere (it does not seem to be given as an option under http://www.objectdb.com/java/jpa/setting) but it seems that ObjectDB projects run without an objectdb.conf (as long as <activation> is not required for > 10 entity classes). Q: In the case where omitting the objectdb.conf does not impact on a problem being reported and diagnosed, is it acceptable to completely omit the objectdb.conf when providing (links to) mini test projects here on this forum and the issue queues ? #1 2016-08-15 14:20 I am not sure whether it is mentioned anywhere (it does not seem to be given as an option under http://www.o ...
