Memory leak while merging parent with No Cascade annotation with children

Hello support, While tracking memory leak in my application i suspected a memory leak in the merging object db implementation. The test case is the following, just run and watch the "Memory Used" by comparing Cascade.ALL (or Cascade.MERGE ) to nothing. Tested with last version of Object Db ( 2.5.5_05 ) ... 2014-06-02 09:06 Build 2.5.5_06 includes a fix for this issue. Thank you for your report. ...

An ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException with nested entities and enhanced entities

We have a new issue like the issue in the forum task http://www.objectdb.com/database/forum/1075. This issue is very important for us, because we want to create a release soon. Post-compile enhancement fails when static Log4j 2.5 based logger used in Entity

I doubt this is an ObjectDB-enhancer problem, I am however reporting it in case anybody else encounters the problem too. It is mostly also not a concern for my own web app, because in most cases a non-static logging variable can be used in an @Entity.     ObjectDB 2.6.3_04     Apache Log4j2 - 2.5     Mac OS X     jdk1.7.0_51 or jdk1.8.0_60     NetBeans 8.1Beta ... ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException at com.objectdb.o.ALS.c(ALS.java:89)

Hi all, I have created a packet grabber using JNetPcap. It creates a scala actor (java thread) for every packet grabbed which connect to an OpenDB database to add or update relevant entry's. Everything works fine until packets arrive with a time difference in the order of microseconds. Every scala actor opens a connection to the database, does what it needs to do, and then closes the connection. Something like: ... was a missing synchronized and it should be fixed now in build 2.2.4_02. Notice however that usually it is more efficient to ...

"where in" query

Is it possible to run a query selecting values that exist in a provided list? e.g. something like: SELECT u FROM User m WHERE u.username IN ('test_user','anotheruser') I've tried various combinations of this including passing the list as a named parameter but without any joy. The only similar examples I can find in the docs involve a join query - but my list isn't in the database - and the MEMBER OF operator doesn't seem to do what I want (although I may be using it incorrectly! ... 22:35 I tried to build a test case and the result was an exception rather than an empty result ...

Activated ObjectDB still throws "Too many persistable types"

I have upgraded from 2.3.7 to 2.4.4 and now my activation won't work, throwing the dreaded com.objectdb.o.UserException: Too many persistable types (>10) - exceeds evaluation limit I have already reactivated and checked that my objectdb.conf is correctly used (by inserting random chars at the beginning of the file, which lead to an error). Yet I still get the error thrown. Nothing in my configuration changed except the version. What could possibly be the problem with that? ... 17:08 Please try build 2.4.4_06 that may solve the problem (use it first for a new activation ...
