newbie - lots of exeptions

Hi  I'm very new to objectdb . I have bought a server and really want to use it. Our code works well with eclipselink and postgresql - until we stress it which is why I'm trying to get objected to work.   realy wierd things are going on ... we are using hessian to connect our remote clients to glass fish and invoke methods there (fine with postgresql) . here is our log (part of it at least .... exceptions are happening all the time when we're working with objected). ... </persistence-unit > Please check if this makes any difference. A lot of ENT and SIV instances which are not cleared by GC

Hello. I have a JSF application (Glassfish 4, Java 8, ObjectDB 2.6.0). In some time the heap is getting 95% full with java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded.  The first screenshot from VisualVM shows used heap during a 1000 requests stress test. The second shows that after this test there are many com.objectdb.o.ENT and com.objectdb.o.SIV instances. Why isn't it cleaned? I use simple EJB managers containing EntityManagers. On bean's PreDestroy and in servlet's i make entityManager.clear(); ... through mapped by to-many relationships. Please check the new build. If you still get the exception we may need a test case ...

Explorer bug ? Objects seem to be missing from database in Class view, but are present as references

objectdb-2.2.5_08 NetbeansID6.9.1+Glassfish3.01 I suspect the following is an Explorer bug. It is marked knowingly as CRITICAL by me because it makes the ObjectDB system unusable for a real project because it appears to be either database integrity corruption, or it just looks like it, which is just as bad. I attach a running project illustrating the problem, as well as screenshots. ... bugs that are being fixed in the last builds so please check it with build 2.2.5_09. I tried to run your test application but ...

Modifying something with Explorer -> app JPQL with Enum doesn't work anymore

Hi! Scenario: Copy attached DB into localhost ObjectDB server (I'm running 2.5.1_03). Open attached project JavaEE Maven with NetBeans (7.4 beta in my case). Start ObjectDB on localhost as server. Run project on Apache Tomee 1.5.2 standard. Take a look at NetBeans' output to see how many entities are found with field type GOOD. There are 2 ways generate the bug: ... repeat it consistently. Saving custom list which implements java.util.List fails

Hi, I'm evaluating ObjectDB for storing Objects modeled with Eclipse Modeling Framework (EMF) and encountered the following problem:   I took the Point-example from the tutorial and added a list-attribute which is declared as java.util.List but the actual Object MyList just extends ArrayList as shown below. ... Server crash - Mismatch client-server protocol prefix

We've been having a problem where our ObjectDB server goes unresponsive every 2 days or so.  I've reviewed the server-side logs, and there are no events logged shortly before the crash.  Once the server gets in this state, it is unresponsive to bin/server.sh restart; I have had to reboot the entire server on which it's running.  The only recorded symptom is a client-side error (which fortunately gets auto-mailed to me): ... allocating sufficient RAM solves the problem. We should check how future versions of ObjectDB can at least produce a better error ...
