First query takes 4+ minutes to complete

Hi, we are evaluating ObjectDB 2.5.1_04 in embedded mode hoping to replace SQLite in our application. We observed that in our case it takes on average more than 4 minutes to complete the first SELECT query that we run on the DB which contains about 320,000 records of a single type of object. SQLite in comparison responds within few seconds on average with the same number of records. We hope to receive your recommendation on how to improve this result with this post.   Test System #1 2013-08-05 05:44 Hi, we are evaluating ObjectDB 2.5.1_04 in embedded mode hoping to replace SQLite in our application. ...

Eclipse plugin problem (using ObjectDB as a separate bundle)

Hello support, I have seen multiple attempts to correct similar errors as in the title above - the latest in the 2.2.8.01 release of objectDb. However I still get this error.   Here is my scenario (Groovy 1.8 and Eclipse 3.6) used. I have a com.epimss.lab.data.toxicology.TherapeauticDrugScreenRqst. Nested in this class are the following two classes: com.epimss.lab.data.misc.OtherRqst and com.epimss.lab.data.misc.RequestDateAndNumber. #1 2011-07-11 15:49 Hello support, I have seen multiple attempts to correct similar errors as in the title above - the latest ...

Weird behaviour with enhanced classes and embedded entities

Hi, I've found some weird behaviour in my project (www.tinymediamanager.org): Sometimes some entries of my ArrayLists with embedded entities are missing. I've hunted the problem down to an enhanced/proxied list in my entity which contains embedded entities and some .add(obj) are simply failing. Here is a small sscce which reproduces the issue: #1 2014-07-30 11:27 Hi, I've found some weird behaviour in my project (www.tinymediamanager.org): Sometimes some entries ...

InternalException using 2.3.7_12

Sorry can't shed any light on this, other than the code where this came out of, worked fine with 2.3.7_02. I had to upgrade to 2.3.7_12 to pickup the fix for wildcard search on index, and now get this. Cascading makeTransient

Hi! We have a memory leak in our app because of ObjectDBs __odbTracker fields. The situation is that we read the objects from the DB (many and large objects of class A) and then keep in the application cache only some embedded parts of those objects (let's call them class B). This application cache should work independently on the DB as if it contained transient objects. #1 2015-07-03 10:50 Hi! We have a memory leak in our app because of ObjectDBs __odbTracker fields.
