Should I use ObjectDB and JDO?

My application is not meeting required performance because JavaDB appears to be my bottleneck.  I require a faster DB.  Surveying the Internet lead me to believe that ObjectDB might be just what I am looking for (to achieve MUCH faster database access).  But, I have a few concerns.   #1 2016-07-09 15:19 My application is not meeting required performance because JavaDB appears to be my bottleneck.  I require a ...

Activation & Object Model Enhancement

We'd like to buy and use OEM Licenses. However, our object model gets enhanced at runtime (using JEnhancer directly) and not at compile time so we can not "sign" our object model at compile time though we are unable (and don't want) to activate each oem instance so we'd need a solution for this.     thanks Alex ... are creating osgi bundles using maven. One of our bundles contains the code calling odb JEnhancer. Maybe it'd be possible to somewhat ...

Explorer in 2.3

First, the new Explorer in ObjectDB is fantastic! This is exactly what we've needed - an easy way to do ad-hoc JPQL queries and navigate through the results and even make small changes to primitive data and Strings. After playing with it for a while, here is a list of additional features I'd love to have: 1. Export of selected data: a. Simple - Select a range of cells or a column header and copy text to the clipboard or save to a file (csv, html, etc..). (There appear to be copy menu options, but I cannot get them to work.) ... methods you have to run the Explorer with classpath that contains your classes. Again, you can copy the query result (e.g. the ...

Custom collection types

Hi   In our project in few places there are used collections from emf framework eg EcoreEMap http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/emf/javadoc/2.5.0/org/eclipse/emf/ecore/util/EcoreEMap.html This is strange map for me, it implements List interface but does not implement Map interface, nevertheless it causes some questions. #1 2011-08-23 11:35 Hi   In our project in few places there are used collections from emf framework eg EcoreEMap http:// ...
