Reading 1.x odb files in ObjectDB 2.x without upgrading

Hi, We have a problem in the backward compatibilty in our software as once we have migrated object db odb file from version 1.x to 2.x, user is unable to open the odb files in the application which is having object db 1.x installed. Is there any way to read odb files from 1.x in object db 2.x without upgrading it ? Or user can see the content in read only mode without upgrading it ? "Attempt to lock a non entity object" error

Probably a simple answer for someone who's been using ObjectDB for awhile: I'm reading objects from the database outside a transaction (inside doesn't seem to matter). First cycle of doEdit and then doCancelEdit works fine. Second time I doEdit produces the error "Attempt to lock a non entity object" session.rollback() is somehow causing the problem (found through debugging) Is this enough information for someone to suggest what might be happening and how to fix it? ... edit delete AlphaOne ... edit delete AlphaOne ...

Performance and memory usage of queries

Hello, we can't understand why the performance of queries is not the best and the execution requires so much memory. In the implementation of our UnitTests we have used "DELETE FROM Object" to delete the database. That did not work because we often get an "out of memory" exception. What's all done in the execution of queries? Why is so much memory is required, although from the application point of view, no object is loaded. ... problem with lazy loading - unittest project attached

hi, i'm still testing objectdb together with spring-data-jpa. i made a test which should simulate 4 requests 1. save entity 2. read an existing entity, add onetomany relation 3. read an existing entity, add another onetomany relation 4. read entity, get relations. i have the feeling this is not the optional way to test this, because of the differnt transaction behavior. the test is not transactional, but the spring repository methods are. ... edit delete chris ... edit delete support ...

JPQL IN Operator

How can I use the standard JPQL IN operator with ObjectDB?
