JDO support vs JPA

Hi, I am about to update the JDO metadata in the package.jdo files after moving from ObjectDB 1 to 2. However I found that there is no complete description or guide how the XML metadata should look in version 2. I found only small fragments of attributes in the description of JDO Annotations (to which XML element is the given annotation equivalent). So my questions to this are: 1. Is there some description of XML metadata for ObjectDB ver2 using JDO which I did not find? #1 2014-07-06 15:53 Hi, I am about to update the JDO metadata in the package.jdo files after moving from ObjectDB 1 to 2. List of Enum Values in an entity

Hello, I'm new with ObjectDB and just tried out the example in the Eclipse/Glassfish tutorial (http://www.objectdb.com/tutorial/jpa/eclipse/ee). After testing was successful, I extended the Guest class with an ArrayList of Enums: private ArrayList<GuestFlag> flags; The flags are stored into the database without any problem. In the explorer I can see that it is stored as array of Strings. #1 2013-11-07 14:16 Hello, I'm new with ObjectDB and just tried out the example in the Eclipse/Glassfish tutorial ( http ...

Bidirectional OneToMany is slow on updated items

Hello, I have a problem with the following situation. I insert persons with addresses. In the first run, they are all new with a new address. It runs fast. In the second run, the persons are all loaded and got a second address. This seams to be much slower. The Entities are all enhanced by the javaagent (which you can see in the contained eclipse launch configuration) Is there any way to speed it up?       #1 2013-02-22 10:02 Hello, I have a problem with the following situation. Sometimes the ObjectDB throws an internal expeption if a find() was executed

Sometimes the ObjectDB throws an internal exception if a find() was executed. It is a sporadic issue that occurs only with Objectdb 2.7.0_b2 and only if the entites are enhanced. (We don't enabled the new property "objectdb.temp.extended-ref-retrieval" from http://www.objectdb.com/database/forum/1161) With the previous version (2.7.0_b1) we don't get the exceptions. Two stack traces we observed: Bug Version: Priority: Critical Status: Fixed Replies: 1 Type:  Bug ...
