Explorer in 2.3

First, the new Explorer in ObjectDB is fantastic! This is exactly what we've needed - an easy way to do ad-hoc JPQL queries and navigate through the results and even make small changes to primitive data and Strings. After playing with it for a while, here is a list of additional features I'd love to have: 1. Export of selected data: a. Simple - Select a range of cells or a column header and copy text to the clipboard or save to a file (csv, html, etc..). (There appear to be copy menu options, but I cannot get them to work.) #1 2011-10-04 20:50 First, the new Explorer in ObjectDB is fantastic! Object as parameter results in exception

Hi,    I've got a simple JPA2 Criteria query which fails when doing an object equality. I verified this against EclipseLink and over there, it works. I'll Attach some code snippets to help figure it out:   @Entity() public class Product{ . . . @ManyToOne     private Compamy owningCompany; } @Entity() public class Company{    .    .    .     @Id    private Long id; } and the query: ... TypedQuery? I see the value in not having to repeatedly execute the Criteria definitions. So ObjectDB would indeed cache this query the ...

Suspected memory leak

Hi, We are running soak testing with Object DB and it is showing signs of memory leak: used memory is growing overtime until Object DB JVM fails with OutOfMemoryException. Object DB is running in a separate JVM. All the config is attached. We are continuing to investigate this and will create memory dump next time this happens. In the meantime, could you please check if there is anything wrong with our configuration? Kind regards, Natalia. #1 2012-01-22 21:46 Hi, We are running soak testing with Object DB and it is showing signs of memory leak: used memory is gro ...

Pessimistic Lock Timeouts setting

Hi,   I realise that JPA2 doesn't necessarily define a standard API way for Lock Timeouts. However, there is a standardised query 'hint' that can be setup to make the underlying DB lock a record for a specific time. The hint property is: "javax.persistence.lock.timeout" #1 2011-04-29 04:30 Hi,   I realise that JPA2 doesn't necessarily define a standard API way for Lock Timeouts. Howev ...
