stress test -> com.objectdb.o.InternalException: null

I am running a stress test with 2 users, each making a request to the JSON API (which uses as storage ObjectDB) each 50 milliseconds. An API call might have between 1-4 db calls, but they are relatively light, and the db has just a few MB at the moment. After a few minutes I got this exception. If I decrease the load, it doesn't happen. If I increase it, I get it very often. Any solution/fix? A sample project is very hard, if not impossible, to create, because it uses all the system. ... Garbage Free Persistence?

Hi, I am trying to make my application garbage free. I noticed ObjectDB is not garbage free - I noticed that by persisting the same object 1mio times - and I can see the java garbage collector kicking and the usedHeap increasing. Is there a way to persist entities in a garbage free manner? Thanks EKK ... Performance problem

Hi, we have a strange performance problem with ObjectDB 2.5.3_01 and JBoss 7.1.1. We have two ObjectDB databases on one ObjectDB server. Production database is running 5-10 times slower than test database. Their size and number of records are almost identical. When running production database in separate test environment its speed is very good. We did a performance analysis on our 2 linux servers one running JBOSS and other running ObjectDB. - CPU utilization of JBOSS server is max 5-10% (per core)... persistence.xml classes not respected by ObjectDB

Hi! I have the following persistence.xml. The problem is that ObjectDB loads all the classes in P1 (+ their embeddable classes). P2 is created properly, but P1 gets all entity classes (from P2 also). How can this be avoided, so that both P1 and P2 get just the classes that were specified to each? There is no place in code where P1 tries to access classes from P2, so it makes no sense. ... List of Enum Values in an entity

Hello, I'm new with ObjectDB and just tried out the example in the Eclipse/Glassfish tutorial (http://www.objectdb.com/tutorial/jpa/eclipse/ee). After testing was successful, I extended the Guest class with an ArrayList of Enums: private ArrayList<GuestFlag> flags; The flags are stored into the database without any problem. In the explorer I can see that it is stored as array of Strings. ... ObjectDB Support ObjectDB - Fast Object Database for Java (JPA/JDO) ... Eager load Map

I'm having an issue eager loading a nested map. I've attached @ManyToMany(fetch=FetchType.EAGER) attributes to no avail. If the map is viewed in the debugger or force iterated in the code it loads ok. The attached code attempts to replicate the scenario. Its not an exact match but is the best I could come up with without replicating the whole system. The test creates an object, persists it to a db and re-loads it. The EntityManager is closed before accesing any fields. Finally the nested map is accessed and printed to screen. ... ObjectDB Support ObjectDB - Fast Object Database for Java (JPA/JDO) ...
