Occasionally slow requests in load testing

We are running load testing against objectdb version 2.3.7_18. The performance is generally OK, however there are quite a few "spikes" in the performance where we are getting a lot of very slow response times from the DB, around 10 - 15 seconds. Looking at the DB server process with AppDynamics we can see that most of the requests get stuck in one of 2 places: com.objectdb.o.PGC:w: line number 232 com.objectdb.o.LFL:U: line number 1068 Please see the attached callgraph examples for full stack trace examples. ... number 1068 ) indicates massive access to the database file during query processing. Which storage fits best to ObjectDB?

Hi, we are just about to put together a new server for our applications using ObjectDB (v 2.6). How force always recreate database on redeployment.

Is there some easy way to force recreation/deletion of the current database on deployment of a web application (to Glassfish). My web application uses a @Singleton @Startup bean to create and persist a test model each run. I keep getting models on top of each other on rerunning my web application. Vacuum - Reclaiming Unused Space In Odb

I was curious if you could assist me with a challenge we are having with our objectdb database.  Our odb files are about 50Gb in size and are written to about a million times a day with both adds and updates.  This is creating a lot of unused space in the database that we are wanting to reclaim.  Other database vendors provide a vacuum process to allow dumping a database to a flat file (basically a sql dump) and reload.  Is there a capability in ObjectDb to provide a vacuum?  The online backup feature appears to copy the dead space as well so isn't performing... a vacuum process to allow dumping a database to a flat file (basically a sql dump) and reload.  Is there a capability in ObjectDb ... execution of Doctor found any errors.
