Cascading makeTransient

Hi! We have a memory leak in our app because of ObjectDBs __odbTracker fields. The situation is that we read the objects from the DB (many and large objects of class A) and then keep in the application cache only some embedded parts of those objects (let's call them class B). This application cache should work independently on the DB as if it contained transient objects. ... Maximum file size: 32 MB 0 ...

Problem with distinct select, order by and equivalent alias/attribute path

Hi, while working with a (standard-)JPA-query generating framework we run into an exception when ordering the results of some projection when the order by expression is different (though logically equivalent) to the projection expression. Here is the example: ... Maximum file size: 32 MB 0 ...

IN expression in a Criteria Query

Hello, I am trying to migrate my Spring project from Hibernate to ObjectDB. On ObjectDB page, it is written that ObjectDB is 100% compatible with JPA. However, I have problem with this JPQL query: SELECT e FROM Employee e WHERE e.present = false AND NOT EXISTS (SELECT c FROM Computer c WHERE c.employeeEntity = e) ORDER BY e.name with Hibernate, there was no problem with this query, but ObjectDB throws exception: ... New to Product & Having An Issue

Greetings ObjectDB Users! I'm new to the product, and I've setup a simple test after reading the tutorial, and I'm running into some issues with queries, specifically querying by primary key.   I have a domain object class Called Department, which has a member of type DomainId.  DomainId has two member fields:  String accountId and String objectId.  The following code shows these two classes.... First query takes 4+ minutes to complete

Hi, we are evaluating ObjectDB 2.5.1_04 in embedded mode hoping to replace SQLite in our application. We observed that in our case it takes on average more than 4 minutes to complete the first SELECT query that we run on the DB which contains about 320,000 records of a single type of object. SQLite in comparison responds within few seconds on average with the same number of records. We hope to receive your recommendation on how to improve this result with this post.   Test System ... Glassfish 4 AbstractMethodError: com.objectdb.jpa.EMF.createEntityManager

Hi! I've been trying to get Glassfish 4 (Java EE 7) work with ObjectDB the whole day. It seems to be an error. The same code (adapted to Java EE 6) works perfect in Glassfish 3.1.2.2. I attached the samples as NetBeans projects, so that you could check easier. 1 for GF3 (6) and 1 for GF4 (7). Thanks! ... Maximum file size: 32 MB 0 ...
