Corrupted Database or error in ObjectDBExplorer?

Hello, we have problems when we open our Database file with the ObjectDB-Explorer (2.6.8_b8). Can you analyze the problem and tell us if its a problem of the explorer or a real problem in the Database-File? An analysis with the DB-Doctor found no problems.   We observe the error if we try to open the Tree or Table Window for com.btc.ep.analysis.test.bl.internal.dmos.RequirementBasedTestCaseImpl  (its the 9th entity)   #1 2016-10-28 13:20 Hello, we have problems when we open our Database file with the ObjectDB-Explorer (2.6.8_b8). Embedded in JDO metadata not working in objectDB 2.x ?

Hi, I am using JDO access to the database with the persistence defined in package.jdo XML metadata files. In those metadata files I have few persistence-capable classes which had extents in ObjectDB 1 (with an OID for every instance) and all other classes were embedded (so without extent and own OID) in those few peristence-capable ones. Example of JDO metadata: ... with the persistence defined in package.jdo XML metadata files. In those metadata files I have few persistence-capable classes which had extents in ObjectDB 1 ...

ObjectDB stability after power failure

I'm considering using ObjectDB in a system that is going to be running continuously without support instantly available for many years.  How stable is ObjectDB when it comes to power failures and unattended restarts?  Is database integrity maintained during such events?  I have seen database vendors perform 'kick the plug out' demonstrations of how their product will survive power failures.  Is ObjectDB suitably robust that it won't fail in such situations?    #1 2014-05-21 00:39 I'm considering using ObjectDB in a system that is going to be running continuously without support instantly ...

Low performance when getting grove roots

Hi, I have a grove-like structure of objects, every objects referencing its parent. Root objects have null as the value of this parent reference. To find the roots I execute a query. If the number of objects in the tree is significant, this query takes almost forever, it seems ObjectDB loads all objects on the DB to test their parent field value. Id there a way to force ObjectDB to create an index for this field? Regards, Vladimir #1 2013-03-28 10:11 Hi, I have a grove-like structure of objects, every objects referencing its parent. Again about $temp from objectdb.conf
