Path in tomcat

Hi, If I put the .jar into /opt/Tomcat/lib/, then where the .conf should be in? And the .odb? When I debug the Eclipse web project, I export all things into a .war file. Then I use Tomcat's web deploy tool by the .war file. However, if I put objectdb into the project's /WEB-INF/, I may lost the db when I use Undeploy tool. TIA ... you can redeploy you application without deleting database files. edit ... the size of war file, and will destroy the DB under db-files with tomcat undepoly tool. I think it is best to put the jar file into ...

Unexpected internal exception during set field of an Embeddable to null

Hello, we get an Unexpected internal exception and have no idea what goes wrong. We can reproduce (mostly) the error in a very big use case. In the big use case and we create and persist millions of SignalValueImpl objects (Embeddables). Partly as in the stack trace an Embeddable contain another Embeddable. It seems like that we can't reproduce the problem in smaller use cases with less objects. Stack trace: ... because it was easier to enhance the class files.       ...

Occasionally slow requests in load testing

We are running load testing against objectdb version 2.3.7_18. The performance is generally OK, however there are quite a few "spikes" in the performance where we are getting a lot of very slow response times from the DB, around 10 - 15 seconds. Looking at the DB server process with AppDynamics we can see that most of the requests get stuck in one of 2 places: com.objectdb.o.PGC:w: line number 232 com.objectdb.o.LFL:U: line number 1068 Please see the attached callgraph examples for full stack trace examples. #1 2012-04-26 12:56 We are running load testing against objectdb version 2.3.7_18. How force always recreate database on redeployment.

Is there some easy way to force recreation/deletion of the current database on deployment of a web application (to Glassfish). My web application uses a @Singleton @Startup bean to create and persist a test model each run. I keep getting models on top of each other on rerunning my web application. Currently, to avoid multiple models in the database, I have to undeploy from Glassfish, stop the server, delete the database file, re-start the objectdb server, re-run the web app, which is tedious. #1 2012-03-03 09:32 Is there some easy way to force recreation/deletion of the current database on deployment of a web application (t ...

Which storage fits best to ObjectDB?

Hi, we are just about to put together a new server for our applications using ObjectDB (v 2.6).
