Query problem after transaction commit

I have a machine running the objectdb server and the client on another machine connect to it. The client program can connect to the server and query to get all the records. However, after transaction.begin ... persist(p) .. commit of a new object, my client program can no longer retrieve the old records but only the latest stored record. I tried to run database explorer on the server machine and able to see all the records including the new stored record.... (e.g. "A"). Please try build 2.6.9_08 that should fix this issue. Referential Integrity

Currently ObjectDB doesn't prevent deletion of entity objects that are in use and referenced by other entity objects, and it is the application responsibility to avoid such deletion. During development and testing it is recommended to use the ObjectDB Doctor to verify that reference integrity is not broken and there are no dangling references. Unlimited JPA Persistable Types

I think it would be revolutionary if it were possible to persist any Java object, not just the standard SQL-based objects. Perhaps introducing an annotation will allow for this, something like @BasicType. The ability to store the state of an entire application would be a new innovative approach to persistence. For example, being able to persist: private Thread thread; Since ObjectDB is a proprietary database, surely this could be introduced by adding some sort of equals() override? Full Text Indexing and Query

The ability of ObjectDB to index collections, including collections of strings, can be used for text indexing and search. By splitting the text into words and keeping the words in a List<String> persistent fields, documents that contain specific words can be retrieved easily and efficiently. This ability should be extended in future versions of ObjectDB to complete full text support, as provided by separate tools such as Apache Luncene. Request clarification of changes to accessor enhancement policy (non-getter prefix instead of getter suffix) AND annotations

In response to the forum posting http://www.objectdb.com/database/forum/994 changes were made to the way enhancement treats getters and setters (property accessors), namely there are no longer enhanced additional getters/setters, because the additional methods now use (since about version 2-6-5) this pattern: __odbHidden_[accessor_name] Instead of this pattern with a suffix (preserving the method as a setter or getter), prior to version 2-6-5: #1 2016-08-20 13:44 In response to the forum posting http://www.objectdb.com/database/forum/994 changes were made to the way enh ...

Spring Data JPA - PersistenceException thrown

In a Spring-managed application that has 2 EntityManagerFactories (one Hibernate and one ObjectDB), I see the 2 EMFs created successfully on startup, but then subsequently when the application is initializing Spring JPA repositories with Hibernate EntityManagers, the application throws the following stacktrace. I've seen a couple of similar posts regarding a NPE when looking for resources, but they seem different enough that they might be a different issue.   #1 2015-06-23 22:49 In a Spring-managed application that has 2 EntityManagerFactories (one Hibernate and one ObjectDB), I see the 2 E ...
