Can't post on your forum

Since yesterday, I can't post on the forum because it always says that I should log in in order to do that. I was already logged in, but, anyway, it appeared as not. I go to log in, then I authenticate, then I'm redirected to the home page, but it still looks that I'm not logged in, so I can't post on the forum. I tried removing the cookies, but nothing. I tried in another browser, but the same. I have new bugs to post, so it's pretty important. #1 2014-05-22 09:21 Since yesterday, I can't post on the forum because it always says that I should log in in order to do that. ...

Post-compile enhancement sometimes causes error in generic loops: incompatible types found: java.lang.Object: required: Entity

I have moved from automatic run-time enhancement to explicit post-compile enhancement in an Ant build.xml in a NetBeans web app, and sometimes on editing a file that performs a generic loops over and @entity type I get a generics error. The loop is:  for (Steel s: this.steelMaterials.getL_Steel().getEls()) { eSteelTableItems.add(asXmlElement(s)); } Where getEls() here gives: List<Steel> This sometimes (only, I don't understand the circumstances) gives this error: Bug Version: 2.4.0 Priority: Normal Status: Active Replies: 2 Type:  Bug ...

Is it possible to remove parent/child entities without refresh?

We have a big object tree in our project. If I use the entityManage.remove method a entityManager.refresh is necessary in order to have an updated object tree in memory. But entityManager.refresh is too slow for our project. Do you know a possibilty to remove parent/child entities without entityManager.refresh after the entityManager.remove operation? I have searched for a solution with the following unit test (See testRemoveVariant2()). But my approach works correctly. Do you have an idea? #1 2015-01-13 07:41 We have a big entity object tree in our project. If I use the entityManager.remove(childEntity) method to remove ...

No Entity Class API

Both JPA and JDO are based on accessing and managing data in the database using persistable classes (mainly entity classes in JPA or persistence capable classes in JDO). Sometimes, it might be useful to access data without classes. For example, a tool that finds and replaces strings in the database should be generic and should not be bound to specific entity classes and persistent fields. An API for accessing (and maybe also modifying) data in the database without classes can be useful in some applications.
