InternalException caused by OOM: Metaspace

Our java server app using objectDB threw this mistake. Looks like due to OutOfMemory exception, but the app was running with -Xmx12G and before the mistake there was used 1,6G from that heap. Although Metaspace can happen independently on the heap usage I believe. Stacktrace follows: Bug Version: 2.5.5 Priority: Normal Status: Closed Replies: 1 Type:  Bug ...

Database File Encryption

ObjectDB supports encryption of client-server communication over the network using SSL. Encryption of data in database files is less commonly used, since it slows the database, and when necessary, external encryption is possible (e.g. at the operating system level). Still, this might be useful for some applications. Feature Request Version: 1.04 Priority: Normal Status: Active Replies: 2 Type:  Feature Request ...

JSON serialization and __odbHidden members

Hi.. Building a REST API (Jersey-based one) I noticed that object object I serialize to JSON has a clone field with "__odbHidden" suffix, e.g.there's  "id" and "id__odbHidden" is also (unwantenly) present with the same value. In general, we can annotate fields to include/exclude them from JSON serialization, but since these fields are not declared in my classes, I have no idea how to tell marshaller to avoid them. #1 2015-10-30 10:13 Hi.. An entityManager.flush() with many entities is not possible

The following exception occures if we call entityManager.flush() where the corresponding JPA PersistenceContext has many entities and relations. What is the reason for the exception? entityManager.getTransaction().commit() instead of a entityManager.flush() works correctly. Unfortunately I have not found a simple example to reproduce this exception. The entity model of the flushed JPA PersistenceContext is too complex.  Bug Version: 2.6.0 Priority: Normal Status: Active Replies: 1 Type:  Bug ...

Eager Fetch of Map with Entities as Keys

Loading eagerly a map that uses entity objects as keys is currently unsupported, if the equals and hashCode method of the keys are based on the key entity content, since it is unavailable during instantiation of the map. Help with 'not like/lower' query

Hi again,   Honestly, I'm fairly new with JPA2 Criteria queries - but as far as code effort goes, it has saved me a bit of pain. I'm writing a dynamic query builder (only 1 level deep for basic entities) - but  even though I get most queries to work, I am getting the following error. This is using Criteria with a combination of LOWER/UPPER - NOT LIKE: ... after (). Please try build 2.2.7_08 that should fix this bug. ObjectDB Support ObjectDB - Fast ...
