Can't post on your forum

Since yesterday, I can't post on the forum because it always says that I should log in in order to do that. I was already logged in, but, anyway, it appeared as not. I go to log in, then I authenticate, then I'm redirected to the home page, but it still looks that I'm not logged in, so I can't post on the forum. I tried removing the cookies, but nothing. I tried in another browser, but the same. I have new bugs to post, so it's pretty important. ... pages the differences between logged users and guests are generated by JavaScript / CSS on the client side (based on cookies). This ...

Schema-Update: Deactivation of automatic entity class removing and introduction of a new class remove in the schema config

Hello, in our application we use ObjectDB in embedded mode as part of the Profile that can be stored and opened by our customers. Our application is an eclipse RCP application with a domain-driven design. The product can be installed in different configurations (in other words with more or less PlugIns). This presents us with further challenges when we have made changes to DB schema for new versions. Feature Request Version: 2.7.1 Priority: High Status: Active Replies: 4 Type:  Feature Request ...

Extended mapping-definitions

The described feature is not available in any object-db I know, but possible with mapping to a relational DB, for example with Hibernate.   By default every entity of the real world (respectively its class) gets mapped to a java class. So cats get mapped to the java class 'Cat', dogs to 'Dog' and so on. In the project for which I'm evaluating objectDB, there 1.) will be hundreds of classes and 2.) not all classes are known at project start (an editor). #1 2013-04-11 17:04 The described feature is not available in any object-db I know, but possible with mapping to a relational DB, for ...

NoResultException: No matching results for a unique query

I am very often getting a "com.objectdb.o._NoResultException: No matching results for a unique query" when modifying my already persisted entities within a transaction. I cannot replicate it however because it happens infrequently. The weird thing is that the entity nevertheless gets comitted perfectly right and all data is correctly written so I have no clue what's going on!?? Here's the stacktrace (copy+paste from debug output): Bug Version: Priority: Normal Status: Closed Replies: 6 Type:  Bug ...

lockfiles in client/server mode

i have an objectdb server running on localhost as user "objectdb", spawned like so: java -server -cp /usr/local/share/objectdb/objectdb.jar: com.objectdb.Server -conf /etc/objectdb/objectdb.conf start it has naturally created and taken ownership of /tmp/ObjectDB. ... has been successful since the ID numbers the lockfiles are generated with are highly unlikely to collide. changing the temporary ...

OptimisticLockException

Ran into this error for the first time (after many years of using odb): Caused by: com.objectdb.o._OptimisticLockException: Optimistic lock failed for object model.UserSession#28 (object has version 2 instead of 3) Also the first time I'm using odb in C/S mode rather than embedded. PersistenceManager.getObjectsById(Collection, boolean) throwing JDOException

I have a call to getObjectsById(Collection, boolean) that is throwing a JDOException the first time I'm attempting to retrieve an object. If I try again, then the second request succeeds. Any idea why this might occur? We're using ObjectDB 2.2.4_02. The collection being passed in is a HashSet<Object> containing a single oid object (the method is written to support multiple objects, but it seems to only be failing irregularly when only a single oid is present). I'm passing false in as the verification argument.... Next build could be generated as soon as the problem is fully understood. I am not sure that ...

Unexpected Query Token / Casting in Query

Hi! Please find the attached database. Doing a simple query with casting SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT $1) FROM com.quasado.foundation.contact.individual.IndividualContact $1 WHERE UPPER(((com.quasado.foundation.warehouse.api.model.account.contact.IndividualContactDebitorAccountFragment) $1.qubletFRAGMENTMAP.get('com.quasado.foundation.warehouse.api.model.account.contact.IndividualContactDebitorAccountFragment')).debitorAccount.bankAccounts.routingNumber) LIKE UPPER('%28%') results in the error ... add another one anyway in our code because it is all auto-generated). Second thing: Can u easily extend odb to at least support ... case as well?   Our stuff is auto generated and cannot be changed as it is now nor replaced with manual code ...
