Wrong data stored in time only fields

This may be related to the fix for the problem described in this thread: Wrong data stored in date only fields. The object and its date and time fields are the same as in the referenced thread. Except we are using ObjectDB 2.6.4_08, the system time zone is set to EST and both the OS and JVM are using the 2015g time zone data. #1 2015-12-19 01:17 This may be related to the fix for the problem described in this thread: Wrong data stored in date only fields ...

Explorer in 2.3

First, the new Explorer in ObjectDB is fantastic! This is exactly what we've needed - an easy way to do ad-hoc JPQL queries and navigate through the results and even make small changes to primitive data and Strings. After playing with it for a while, here is a list of additional features I'd love to have: 1. Export of selected data: a. Simple - Select a range of cells or a column header and copy text to the clipboard or save to a file (csv, html, etc..). (There appear to be copy menu options, but I cannot get them to work.) #1 2011-10-04 20:50 First, the new Explorer in ObjectDB is fantastic! Explorer bug ? Objects seem to be missing from database in Class view, but are present as references

objectdb-2.2.5_08 NetbeansID6.9.1+Glassfish3.01 I suspect the following is an Explorer bug. It is marked knowingly as CRITICAL by me because it makes the ObjectDB system unusable for a real project because it appears to be either database integrity corruption, or it just looks like it, which is just as bad. I attach a running project illustrating the problem, as well as screenshots. ... bug - it is not the Explorer but somehow your application generated a broken database. It might be related to the flush bugs that ...

Speed of queries that return many objects

Hi, I have a DB of 146MB - with 1_000_000 elements. Loading the contents (objectDB query in java) takes about 10sec. I am using a recent MacBook (SSD blabla - disk I/O speed is about 400MB/sec - according to blackMagicTest app for mac) - so I was expecting the query to take less than one sec (146/400 = 0.35sec.. + some overhead). I was wondering if this kind of speed is "normal", or if this is something I should investigate. Thanks EKK #1 2015-08-29 21:10 Hi, I have a DB of 146MB - with 1_000_000 elements. Cascading makeTransient

Hi! We have a memory leak in our app because of ObjectDBs __odbTracker fields. The situation is that we read the objects from the DB (many and large objects of class A) and then keep in the application cache only some embedded parts of those objects (let's call them class B). This application cache should work independently on the DB as if it contained transient objects. ... 2.6.3_01] Unexpected exception (Error 990)   Generated by Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 1.8.0_40 (on Mac OS X ...

Unexpected internal exception during set field of an Embeddable to null

Hello, we get an Unexpected internal exception and have no idea what goes wrong. We can reproduce (mostly) the error in a very big use case. In the big use case and we create and persist millions of SignalValueImpl objects (Embeddables). Partly as in the stack trace an Embeddable contain another Embeddable. It seems like that we can't reproduce the problem in smaller use cases with less objects. JSON serialization and __odbHidden members

Hi.. Building a REST API (Jersey-based one) I noticed that object object I serialize to JSON has a clone field with "__odbHidden" suffix, e.g.there's  "id" and "id__odbHidden" is also (unwantenly) present with the same value. In general, we can annotate fields to include/exclude them from JSON serialization, but since these fields are not declared in my classes, I have no idea how to tell marshaller to avoid them. ... } // here the usual getters/setters (auto-generated) The LoginInfo class contains just 2 fields (String ...
