IN expression in a Criteria Query

Hello, I am trying to migrate my Spring project from Hibernate to ObjectDB. On ObjectDB page, it is written that ObjectDB is 100% compatible with JPA. However, I have problem with this JPQL query: SELECT e FROM Employee e WHERE e.present = false AND NOT EXISTS (SELECT c FROM Computer c WHERE c.employeeEntity = e) ORDER BY e.name with Hibernate, there was no problem with this query, but ObjectDB throws exception: ... ; List<MyEntity> results = query. getResultList ( ) ; System. out . println ... ; List<MyEntity> results = query. getResultList ( ) ; System. out . println ...

java.sql.Time field off by 30 minutes

Hihi, I'm wondering if this is a bug. I have a simple entity with java.sql.Time field. On writing and readback, the field is found to be 30 minutes off. It is observed on objectdb explorer as well. Timestamp works perfectly fine. Ps. dont think its a UTC issue. My system is set at far off UTC+30min time.   ... e" ) ; List resultList = query. getResultList ( ) ; System. out . println ...

Mapped By Fetch is very Slow

Well ! I think i pointed out a HUGE performance issue with mapped-by attribute (yeah again :( ). Here is the test case : 1- Create 100 000 entities with for each 1 entity with @OneToOne(mappedBy attribute) 2- Retrieve only 10 000 for testing 3- Wait ... On my AMD FX 8350, it took 60s Now, go the MyEntity class and remove "mapped-by". You obtain 1 second max of query fetch. ... = query. setMaxResults ( 10000 ) . getResultList ( ) ;   Long end = new Date ...

how explorer queries work

i'm curious as to how the explorer is able to execute queries when its obviously not aware of the object model that i built. the reason is because i have an application where i want to be able to execute somewhat generalized queries and i won't know what classes are in the object model ahead of time. this is especially curious to me in client-server mode since the .jar with the object model classes is on the server side, not the client side where explorer is running. ... = em. createQuery ( queryString ) . getResultList ( ) ; throws an exception like this: ... at com.objectdb.jpa.JpaQuery.getResultList(JpaQuery.java:686)         at ...

Removing an entity throws exception

Hi all, I'm testing ObjectDB for my project, but I have troubles with it. At this time I'm not able to remove customer entity, when it's read by a query (it's attached), it throws this exception: Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.RuntimeException: com.objectdb.o._RollbackException: Failed to commit transaction: 51 ... ... Group by date / time

Hi, I'm trying to create reporting query that will return entities grouped by year / mont / day. Each entity has it's own field that holds java.lang.Date. There is no function like YEAR(), MONTH() or DAY() in ODB. So, how to build queries similar to something like this: SELECT COUNT(id) FROM stats WHERE YEAR(record_date) = 2009 GROUP BY YEAR(record_date), MONTH(record_date) or maybe something like this: ... ) ; List resultList = query. getResultList ( ) ; System. out . println ...
