When I use @OrderBy and supply multiple order fields I get and error when ObjectDB loads that entity. Changes in detach behaviour?

Hello! Today i upgraded to 2.3.5_04. My program stopped working. After some debugging i found out that all fields of retrieved objects are on their default value till i first call a getter or detach them explicitly. Up to 2.3.4 they where initialized immediately. The problem in my case is that i have a Spring DAO. It does the following: I call for example getUserByName("blub). #1 2011-12-28 10:31 Hello! Today i upgraded to 2.3.5_04. Using Enum type in NamedQuery: Field is not found in type

I'm trying to switch an application that worked fine in Hibernate to ObjectDB and am having issues with queries that reference enum types. On my entity object is a static enum public static enum Type {     A,B,C } that is stored in an @Enumerated member variable private Type type; @Enumerated public Type getType() {     return type; } I then try to query this field in the following JPA Named Query ... I have noticed that my entities seem not to be getting picked up as entities until they are first persisted - Hibernate used ... classes and create tables before the application even started whereas my ObjectDB database file isnt being created until the first ...

Mapped By Fetch is very Slow

Well ! I think i pointed out a HUGE performance issue with mapped-by attribute (yeah again :( ). Here is the test case : 1- Create 100 000 entities with for each 1 entity with @OneToOne(mappedBy attribute) 2- Retrieve only 10 000 for testing 3- Wait ... On my AMD FX 8350, it took 60s Now, go the MyEntity class and remove "mapped-by". You obtain 1 second max of query fetch. #1 2015-06-19 11:05 Well ! Querying error - java.lang.ClassCastException: com.objectdb.o.STV

I'm getting the ClassCastException below when querying objects. As yet I haven't been able to track down the exact circumstance in which it occurs - saving and querying objects works fine on attempts to recreate - but presumably at some point an object gets saved which objectdb doesn't like. Any pointers as to what is wrong or approaches to investigate further would be much appreciated. ... 2011-03-31 13:36 I'm getting the ClassCastException below when querying objects.
