Extended mapping-definitions

The described feature is not available in any object-db I know, but possible with mapping to a relational DB, for example with Hibernate.   By default every entity of the real world (respectively its class) gets mapped to a java class. So cats get mapped to the java class 'Cat', dogs to 'Dog' and so on. In the project for which I'm evaluating objectDB, there 1.) will be hundreds of classes and 2.) not all classes are known at project start (an editor). #1 2013-04-11 17:04 The described feature is not available in any object-db I know, but possible with mapping to a relational DB, for ...

Replication Error

Hello! I try to get a replication setup working on two test servers. So i copied my test database to one of them, enabled recording and started odb. The dbname.odr folder got created so i think everything is ok. Afterwards i added the replication tag to the configuration of the second server and started it. The second server starts complaining instantly with the following Exception: ... my test database to one of them, enabled recording and started odb. persistence.xml classes not respected by ObjectDB

Hi! I have the following persistence.xml. The problem is that ObjectDB loads all the classes in P1 (+ their embeddable classes). P2 is created properly, but P1 gets all entity classes (from P2 also). How can this be avoided, so that both P1 and P2 get just the classes that were specified to each? There is no place in code where P1 tries to access classes from P2, so it makes no sense. #1 2013-08-20 07:48 Hi! I have the following persistence.xml. Performance problem

Hi, we have a strange performance problem with ObjectDB 2.5.3_01 and JBoss 7.1.1. We have two ObjectDB databases on one ObjectDB server. Production database is running 5-10 times slower than test database. Their size and number of records are almost identical. When running production database in separate test environment its speed is very good. We did a performance analysis on our 2 linux servers one running JBOSS and other running ObjectDB. - CPU utilization of JBOSS server is max 5-10% (per core) #1 2014-01-13 18:57 Hi, we have a strange performance problem with ObjectDB 2.5.3_01 and JBoss 7.1.1.
