Attempt to open a non existing file '/tmp/objectdb_xxxx/SortQueryItr_6.mrg'

Hi, I came across an error - but i have not been able to create a simple reproducible case - the error does not happen often and does not happen always -  Let me explain: 1/ I run 5 java applications at the same time on one machine - each application is using an ODB file (each one is using a different one). Basically each application does a sorted query ( qqq = em.createQuery("SELECT bk FROM OBN bk ORDER BY bk.time ASC", OBN); ) 2/ after a little while - some of the applications throws this error message: #1 2015-02-11 03:52 Hi, I came across an error - but i have not been able to create a simple reproducible case - the error do ...

Drop the entire database, Change the schema

I am trying to port and example app to ObjectDb. As part of the tests I drop the database and reload it with the new schema automatically between test cycles. Is there a simple way to do this with ObjectDb, or is the only way to delete the database file everytime? Thanks #1 2011-08-24 12:19 I am trying to port and example app to ObjectDb. Mapped (Inverse) LAZY @OneToMany vs. Unmapped LAZY @OneToMany

In the code example below (also attached) I would like to understand why I am able to print to console a lazy @OneToMany mapped field after a finding entity manager closes. There is a switch DO_VIEW_BEFORE_CLOSE, and when it is true the fields are accessed and output before the finding entity manager closes and as expected both a mapped @OneToMany list and an unmapped @OneToMany list are viewable: a.listA_mapped:[{A}[4]"ownedElement1", {A}[5]"ownedElement2"] a.listB_unmapped:[{B}[2]"b1", {B}[3]"b2"] #1 2012-03-14 01:37 In the code example below (also attached) I would like to understand why I am able to print to console a lazy @On ...

Internal Exception and Index Problems

Dear Support Team, we have an urgent issue in a productive database. The objectdb doctor finds no error but one string field of one database item is not editable (even not using the objectdb explorer). The corrupt entry is in entity "UserModelData" with id="7d29d5eb-69a6-4d46-9bf1-802cbb6e439b". Try to change the userName attribute of this entry then the following error occurs: Bug Version: 2.5.3 Priority: High Status: Active Replies: 8 Type:  Bug ...

Insertion Speed Rate and Batch Load

1. I got about 10K inserts / second, is it normal? I would expect more than that, like close to 100K/second. I can definitely do 80K inserts/seconds on Oracle with batch insert on table with one primary key. 2. Is batch update/insert operation supported? I attached the files. #1 2011-05-03 22:01 1.
