Deploying objectdb.jar to karaf 4.0.7 seems to fail

Hello, I'm evaluating ObjectDB for a future use in an OSGi project using Apache Karaf 4.0.7 (and later) as OSGi container. When I try to deploy the objectdb.jar file to Karaf (copy the jar file to the deploy folder in Karaf) I get a stacktrace in the Karaf log file with the following message: ... | 4 - org.apache.felix.fileinstall - 3.5.4 | Failed to install artifact: ... at org.apache.felix.fileinstall.internal.DirectoryWatcher.install(DirectoryWatcher.java:952)[4:org.apache.felix.fileinstall:3.5.4] at org.apache.felix.fileinstall.internal.DirectoryWatcher.install(DirectoryWatcher.java:871)[4:org.apache.felix.fileinstall:3.5.4] ...

How to configure where the ODB is stored?

Hi, The documentation is lacking in this respect. How do I configure where the ObjectDB database file is stored. I need to know where it is so I can inspect it with 'database explorer'. Licensing

Hello! In some older post "support" wrote: "A single server license is for one activation of one machine and is non transferable.". What if one of our servers or laptops needs to get replaced? Do i have to purchase a new server license? I know that there is a site license but we are only two developers. A site license would be 3 times more expensive than two server licenses. #1 2012-08-15 17:04 Hello!
