Intermittent: "Attempt to reuse an existing primary key value" when persisting a new instance

Hi,   I don't have a useful test case to expose this issue, but I am getting an intermittent "Attempt to reuse an existing primary key value". In this particular instance, the error is: #1 2011-07-18 11:23 Hi,   I don't have a useful test case to expose this issue, but I am getting an intermittent "At ...

An entityManager.flush() with many entities is not possible

The following exception occures if we call entityManager.flush() where the corresponding JPA PersistenceContext has many entities and relations. What is the reason for the exception? entityManager.getTransaction().commit() instead of a entityManager.flush() works correctly. Unfortunately I have not found a simple example to reproduce this exception. The entity model of the flushed JPA PersistenceContext is too complex.  Bug Version: 2.6.0 Priority: Normal Status: Active Replies: 1 Type:  Bug ...

How prevent post-compile enhancement of non entity classes

I have recently moved to post-compile enhancement (from automatic run-time enhancement) using an Ant build.xml for a NetBeans web app. My adapted build.xml works for both full project build and per-file compilation (with NetBeans "compile on save" off), but it is not yet perfect at only invoking the enhancer on entity files. For full project build the following works, by grouping entities under clearly named packages: #1 2014-09-14 01:02 I have recently moved to post-compile enhancement (from automatic run-time enhancement) using an Ant build.xml fo ...

Run out of memory

Hi, I've been looking into ObjectDB for our use, where everything has been great apart from I'm stuck on the following problem.   I am trying to load a large file (> 1GB), process certain information and store it back in the database to access / modify later. InternalException caused by OOM: Metaspace

Our java server app using objectDB threw this mistake. Looks like due to OutOfMemory exception, but the app was running with -Xmx12G and before the mistake there was used 1,6G from that heap. Although Metaspace can happen independently on the heap usage I believe. Stacktrace follows: Bug Version: 2.5.5 Priority: Normal Status: Closed Replies: 1 Type:  Bug ...

Some details about db behavior

Suppose I have two entities... A B -> A B has a ManyToOne relationship with A. When my database is empty and I persist a valid B entity (that contains actual A reference) I observe some behaviour that I'm not sure I understand. #1 2014-06-26 15:16 Suppose I have two entities...
