ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException at com.objectdb.o.ALS.c(ALS.java:89)

Hi all, I have created a packet grabber using JNetPcap. It creates a scala actor (java thread) for every packet grabbed which connect to an OpenDB database to add or update relevant entry's. Everything works fine until packets arrive with a time difference in the order of microseconds. Every scala actor opens a connection to the database, does what it needs to do, and then closes the connection. Something like: #1 2011-05-11 08:24 Hi all, I have created a packet grabber using JNetPcap. It creates a scala actor (java thread) for every ...

Spring Data JPA - PersistenceException thrown

In a Spring-managed application that has 2 EntityManagerFactories (one Hibernate and one ObjectDB), I see the 2 EMFs created successfully on startup, but then subsequently when the application is initializing Spring JPA repositories with Hibernate EntityManagers, the application throws the following stacktrace. I've seen a couple of similar posts regarding a NPE when looking for resources, but they seem different enough that they might be a different issue.   #1 2015-06-23 22:49 In a Spring-managed application that has 2 EntityManagerFactories (one Hibernate and one ObjectDB), I see the 2 E ...

Performance tuning, best practices

we have a system where we serve from a host process around 200 clients connected via webSockets (Jetty). The core process is running on a dedicated Windows 2012 server with 16 GByte RAM and 8 processor cores.  What is strange for us is that max 20% of the cpu resources are used and the IO subsystem is at maximum 30% of activity under heavy load but database queries are let's say not at the speed we would expect. We have currently 20.000.000 objects in the database, our configuration settings are: #1 2016-11-15 08:07 we have a system where we serve from a host process around 200 clients connected via webSockets (Jetty). Error when using Object DB Java Agent

Hello! We are using the Java Agent while developing our application because it's not possible to tell IntelliJ to enhance the classes after compiling them. Without enhancing it's painfully slow. So we are using the agent as a workaround while JetBrains is investigating the issue. Our production code is built with maven and the classes are compile time enhanced. With the agent we have a problem. In a couple of our projects this exceptions gets thrown when we initialize logback: #1 2015-05-15 12:55 Hello! Field not persisted in abstract class with two level of nesting
