Merge on detached entities

Hello, it is possible to merge detached entities? There are some attached entities which load from the database. The transaction is finished and the entities become detached. In a new transaction the fields of the detached entities will be changed and a merge by em.merge(entity) will be saved the entities. Can this works correctly? How are the rules of the merge process? Do the changed fields of the detached entity overwrite the fields in the database? Also changed fields which are set to null? ... fine. Just some had this defect. What we would like to know are the exact rules how to attach detached entities when the ...

ObectDb 2.3.6 in OSGi environment

Hello, I'm trying to use ObjectDb within OSGi bundles. I have one bundle for db accens which uses ObjectDb and another bundle which includes the POJO models. Everytime I start in plugin evironement i get an PersistenceException, because my POJO not found. If try the same test in normal Java environment everthing works fine. Can you please advice? Hi, I've been looking into ObjectDB for our use, where everything has been great apart from I'm stuck on the following problem.   I am trying to load a large file (> 1GB), process certain information and store it back in the database to access / modify later.
