Change path for urls2.xml file

I am using ObjectDB embedded and have set my home path in relation to the JAR, but running the program still creates .objectdb/urls2.xml in my system user folder.  Is there a setting to change the creation path of this file?  I assumed it would be in relation to the home path, similar to the db and log files. #1 2012-08-12 17:39 I am using ObjectDB embedded and have set my home path in relation to the JAR, but running the program still crea ...

WORM (Write once read many) support

Hello, we would like to propose a feature in the objectdb if this is not already available. We use objectdb in our product development and deployment in high secure environments like police, military and government agencies. We have developed a specialized hardware device in a form of appliance which acts as archiving device for processing and storing logs, records and transactions. Hardware is specific in a way that it has a mechanism for preventing the data to be changed once they are written. #1 2017-02-12 10:45 Hello, we would like to propose a feature in the objectdb if this is not already available. Object DB In memory : without Filestore

Hello, I raised this question earlier as well, we want to explore if I can run the ObjectDB completely in Memory ? (without any writes to Disk, it's okay to loose the data if the node is down ). I think that will give the best performance. The reason we are exploring is restoring state is possible for us through replaying the logs, however we want easier data structures which is really good with ObjectDB along with Concurrency controls and transaction mgmt. Let us know if it is possible to run the Object DB completely in memory without disk storage. #1 2013-10-04 07:31 Hello, I raised this question earlier as well, we want to explore if I can run the ObjectDB completely in ...

Deploying a BIRT Project using ObjectDB onto Tomcat

Hi I am currently having trouble deploying a BIRT Report onto Tomcat. The report works fine in the designer and I can run it without problem. However when i deploy it on Tomcat I get errors, Cannot find or process the %oda.data.source.id driver's data source extension configuration. Cannot find the ODA dataSource extension (%oda.data.source.id). Check the workspace log file for any problems with loading the extension bundle and its dependencies.   #1 2012-05-18 15:06 Hi I am currently having trouble deploying a BIRT Report onto Tomcat. Does run time enhancer due to GlassFish/Payara do anything that would affect loaded compile-time entity classes ?

Deadlock problems solved - a suggestion

Thanks to the new logging capability, I have managed to solve all the deadlock problems, as they were a result of Objectdb encountering new classes in multi-threaded code.  I have a suggestion that might be useful for other users - how about an Ant task that, given a database URL, performs the necessary schema changes (including creating the database if necessary), so that a database is already set up with the complete schema before an application runs?...
