Deploying objectdb.jar to karaf 4.0.7 seems to fail

Hello, I'm evaluating ObjectDB for a future use in an OSGi project using Apache Karaf 4.0.7 (and later) as OSGi container. When I try to deploy the objectdb.jar file to Karaf (copy the jar file to the deploy folder in Karaf) I get a stacktrace in the Karaf log file with the following message: #1 2016-12-02 10:32 Hello, I'm evaluating ObjectDB for a future use in an OSGi project using Apache Karaf 4.0.7 (and late ...

Safe Settings

Hi, I am trying to set up ObjectDb in a safe way that allows turning the machine off while database transactions are running. I would like to test if things are really safe and if I don't get corrupted database files in any possible case. I found "recovery" and "recording" in the objectdb.conf file. Which one is safer to use? I suppose I should turn on sync="true", right? #1 2011-03-28 16:05 Hi, I am trying to set up ObjectDb in a safe way that allows turning the machine off while database trans ...

LEFT JOIN FETCH over empty embedded collection returns no results

First of all, thank you for promptly implementing JOIN FETCH over nested paths in response to my inquiry a few months ago. However, I have run into one problem: if an embedded collection is empty, but I attempt to LEFT JOIN FETCH all the members of a collection within a (non-existent) member of the first collection, the result of the overall query is an empty set. To use the example from my original post: @Embeddable class A { String val; };   #1 2013-05-23 11:06 First of all, thank you for promptly implementing JOIN FETCH over nested paths in response to my inquiry a few mo ...
