Modifying something with Explorer -> app JPQL with Enum doesn't work anymore

Hi! Scenario: Copy attached DB into localhost ObjectDB server (I'm running 2.5.1_03). Open attached project JavaEE Maven with NetBeans (7.4 beta in my case). Start ObjectDB on localhost as server. Run project on Apache Tomee 1.5.2 standard. Take a look at NetBeans' output to see how many entities are found with field type GOOD. There are 2 ways generate the bug: ... Unexpected internal exception during set field of an Embeddable to null

Hello, we get an Unexpected internal exception and have no idea what goes wrong. We can reproduce (mostly) the error in a very big use case. It seems like that we can't reproduce the problem in smaller use cases with less objects. Stack trace: ... the example.  The Reproduce class contains the main(). Searching lists within objects

Hi everyone,  I've a problem with searching on lists. I'm uncertain as to what the best form is, so I've created a maven project with all the classes and a unit test showing my issue. Pretty much I want to search using cb.isMember passing an object. This however does NOT work. I'm uncertain how the database is doing its matching, but it looks to me like it matches using objectids, which means you can only match isMember if you have a database object. This does not help as I'm never going to have the real object at search time. ... . internal . junit . runner . RemoteTestRunner . main ( RemoteTestRunner. java : 197 ) ...

evictAll() behavior

I'm writing a multi-user drawing tool, using objectdb as the central store.  When a user press F5, I want to pick up all the changes from the database.  So, I call evictAll() in the following ways: pmf.getDataStoreCache().evictAll();  // the factory pm.evictAll();                                 // the persistence manager A couple of questions about this: 1. the first evictAll() seems to be clearing the L2 cache -- is this correct 2. the evicts only work when they are done inside a transaction -- is this specified in the JDO spec?... and there is a result OBJECTDB OUTPUT: main--testDbProvisioning Cache size before COMMIT/BEGIN= 1 transient ... = 2630   VERSANT OUTPUT: main--testDbProvisioning Cache size before COMMIT/BEGIN = 280 ...
