java 8 LocalDateTime is not working in query

My entity class has a field of type java.time.LocalDateTime. I'm able to persist entities and I'm able to query without datetime field in where clause, but with datetime in where clause doesn't return anything and not exception.   #1 2014-08-25 00:19 My entity class has a field of type java.time.LocalDateTime. ObjectDB's Database Doctor Incorrect Error Report

Am I reading this correctly?  It seems that Doctor is telling me that one of my objects is missing.  Looking at the database with ObjectDB's Database Explorer though seems to show that the reference to the object is good and that the object does indeed exist.   Output from Doctor Diagnose and Doctor Repair is attached.  So are the two databases and screenshots of Explorer showing the reference to the object and the existence of the object. #1 2016-08-13 16:33 Am I reading this correctly?  It seems that Doctor is telling me that one of my objects is missing.  Lo ...

in-memory and on-disk support?

I've had a quick read through the features/FAQ and haven't been able to find a clear answer. I'm looking at replacing a setup of H2 where I have 40GB in-memory backed by 800GB on-disk, the 40GB in memory represents the first 40GB of the 800GB on-disk for super-fast recent entry searching, the records at the end continuously purge as the new ones come in(duplicate write, one to in-memory and one to on-disk). #1 2011-04-02 11:02 I've had a quick read through the features/FAQ and haven't been able to find a clear answer. Project runs in Eclipse but not when exported to runnable jar

I have a simple project that performs some stability calculations and displays a scale drawing of a model glider. I decided to use objectdb as a way to persist the values for later retrieval. The project works perfectly well when run from eclipse but nothing opens when I export to a runnable jar and execute that. No windows open, there are no eror dialogs etc. Commenting out all the code related to object db resolves the issue and the project runs, so I'm fairly sure it is something I've done relating to objectdb. #1 2011-08-15 06:37 I have a simple project that performs some stability calculations and displays a scale drawing of a model glider. ...

ObjectDB Enhancer Tool in Java 9

I am migrating to Java 9 and have encountered some issues, which I am sure will eventually be addressed by a Java 9 compatible ObjectDB future release, but while waiting for that release, perhaps you could give some advice for my current issues. Firstly, I created my own ObjectDB module.  I try to run com.objectdb.Enhancer from that module, but ObjectDB gives the error below.  My guess is the error is because ObjectDB is trying to detect its objectdb.home location by looking at its objectdb.jar location, which is not valid in a Java module environment. #1 2017-10-07 19:52 I am migrating to Java 9 and have encountered some issues, which I am sure will eventually be addressed by a Java ...

OutOfMemoryError on search after update on DB created with DB Doctor

It looks like there may be an issue with the DB files created with DB Doctor in recovery mode. This is the scenario that results in the OutOfMemory exception problem (using Object DB 2.5.4_04): 1. We instruct Object DB to create a 1Gb DB file on initial start-up using: <database> <size initial="1024mb" resize="256mb" page="2kb" /> This happens as expected. #1 2014-03-11 01:36 It looks like there may be an issue with the DB files created with DB Doctor in recovery mode.
