Indexing a field results in internal Exception

I have an application that I have been converting from JPA/MySQL to JDO/ObjectDB and I have hit a problem with indexing. An index on a String field is required to give good performance but if I add the @Index annotation to the field I eventually end up with an ObjectDB internal exception.  This is reproducible, as is the program running to completion (slowly) if I remove the @Index annotation.  Is there anything I can look for that might result in this exception? #1 2013-04-21 20:40 I have an application that I have been converting from JPA/MySQL to JDO/ObjectDB and I have hit a problem with in ...

ODB should auto-restart if it detects it's necessary

Hi! I find very tricky the need to restart ObjectDB server after schema modifications in a distributed environment. Moreover, not doing it does sometimes trigger ugly errors, which mean application downtime. It might be very useful to have an additional feature (that could be enabled/disabled in objectdb.config) that each time ObjectDB detects a schema change that requires restart, it should automatically restart itself. This way we save a lot of headaches from our dev. ops. Currently we have to manually do: #1 2014-03-29 08:33 Hi! Problem on JPA Merge Entity.

Hello, I have a problem with the EntityManager.merge() function. I set a property value of an entity (statement) with an other entity (newSingleConstraint). newSingleValue is already persisted. I do this myself (no use of cascade because sometimes the newSingleValue is already in database).   The statement update don't throw exception. And when i try to reload statement the value i have set before is a null value. I check with the Explorer, the statement has a null value on the property and the newSingleValue is present. #1 2011-02-03 16:57 Hello, I have a problem with the EntityManager.merge() function. Server vs embedded mode in multi-instance scenario

We are creating a web app that will have multiple different clients, each on their own EC2 instance(s). The clients do not need to share any data, so each could have its own ObjectDB. Clients have a user base of about 2,000 to 60,000 users that could possibly be using their application at any given time (100k absolute maximum). We will probably have multiple instances per client for availability concerns as well as auto scale during peak usage, at least for the benefit of our web application if not for objectdb. #1 2013-01-18 22:18 We are creating a web app that will have multiple different clients, each on their own EC2 instance(s). java.sql.Time field off by 30 minutes

Hihi, I'm wondering if this is a bug. I have a simple entity with java.sql.Time field. On writing and readback, the field is found to be 30 minutes off. It is observed on objectdb explorer as well. Timestamp works perfectly fine. Ps. dont think its a UTC issue. My system is set at far off UTC+30min time.   #1 2012-03-07 01:28 Hihi, I'm wondering if this is a bug.
