Hi, I get the following when ODB starts in embedded mode: Replaying recorded requests... then I get something like 500 lines of recordset information. Here is the relevant part of the config file: Questions: 1) Why am I seeing this if I've set recording enabled to false? 2) I... a style in the toolbar and then insert the text in the new created block. Error when using Object DB Java Agent

Hello! We are using the Java Agent while developing our application because it's not possible to tell IntelliJ to enhance the classes after compiling them. Without enhancing it's painfully slow. So we are using the agent as a workaround while JetBrains is investigating the issue. Our production code is built with maven and the classes are compile time enhanced. With the agent we have a problem. In a couple of our projects this exceptions gets thrown when we initialize logback: ... a style in the toolbar and then insert the text in the new created block. javax.persistence.PersistenceException: No Persistence provider for EntityManager named in Karaf 4.0.7 and OSGi DS test

Hello, I've written a small OSGi Declarative Services application to run in Apache Karaf 4.0.7 to persist an entity into an ObjectDB database. I'm working in C/S model and I have both the ObjectDB server and Karaf running on localhost. When I try to persist the entity I'm getting the  javax.persistence.PersistenceException: No Persistence provider for EntityManager named objectdb://localhost:6136/technolink.odb;user=admin;password=admin exception in the Karaf log. ... a style in the toolbar and then insert the text in the new created block. Server closes if large query runs out of memory

We are using ObjectDB in production, and have found what we thing to be a serious problem:  the objectdb server can run out of memory and stop if a query deals with too many objects. This isn't the behaviour we expected for a product that we want to use to deliver 24/7 high-volume data collection. ObjectDB surely has some idea of the sizes of objects that it persists and retrieves, and so should be able to fail safely if it finds too many objects being retrieved to fit into memory. There must be some alternative to crashing! ... a style in the toolbar and then insert the text in the new created block. Avoid overflow of published source code ...

Doctor bug?

Please see the attached .odb file. It was freshly created by my web application, and just very few entries have been posted to the database yet. But still the doctor reports a whole bunch of errors. My application seems to function properly though. I guess this is a bug in the doctor? Using version 2.4.1. I get  ... a style in the toolbar and then insert the text in the new created block. Pessimestic Locking doesn't release when application unexpectedly terminates.

Hi, We have several services in our app framework that we want to use a cluster singleton. Our approach to this was to use Objectdb's pessimestic locking. This seems to work, but if the owner of the current pessimestic lock abruptly quits without releasing the lock it doesn't get released.    Is there anyway the server can detect that a client (lock owner is no longer connected) and therefore release the lock ?   Thank you   Paul Newman ... a style in the toolbar and then insert the text in the new created block. I am trying to configure my application in a client-server objectdb setup via tcp/ip.
