Is 2 level cache in use?

Hi, Is there any way to check, if 2 level cache is in use? Right now I've done two things: 1. objectdb.conf with cache size is placed in WEB-INF directory of my web application. 2. persistence.xml was modified with: ... useful for retrieval by find and by navigation (and not in queries). You may try the following undocumented ObjectDB ...

Performance in large transactions

Hello, we have a performance problem when we use a large transaction. Let's do exactly the same in several transactions the ObjectDB works much faster. In our use case, we create many new entities and between the creations we call a select query. The execution of the query becomes slower at each iteration. (In the query, we search for an item of type Entity2. However, there is only one entity.)   Pseudocode for the fast and the slow solution FAST: ... test2_ManyTransactions), mentioned in step 3, are not found in the projects. Is it possible to commit only specific elements?

Hello, As stated above, I would like to know if it is possible to commit only specific elements, or at least update a single table, disregarding the other entities loaded in the persistency context? I have a complex hierarchy of intertwined objects. Currently I am clearing my persistency context, retrieving only the needed ones, creating new ones (which I want to commit), detaching the ones I've previously retrieved and finally committing. My context is big data and performance is an issue.      ... and lists of objects as values. Beginners questions

Hello !! I am new in JPA / ObjectDB development and I have many questions: 1. If I understood correctly, ObjectDB is an implementation of JPA standard (currently 2.0)? 1.1. Is ObjectDB on the same level like Hibernate with only difference that Hibernate stores the data in a RDBMS and ObjectDB has its own format?   ... I did the connection between these two tables correctly or not. 3.2. Both POJO-s extend my own class "Pojo.class" which looks ...

Safe Settings

Hi, I am trying to set up ObjectDb in a safe way that allows turning the machine off while database transactions are running.
