JPA JPQL WHERE clause for IN :variable not working if variable is a list of Enums

Hi, I have a case where I have a JPQL query like: "select o from MyEntity o WHERE (enumField IN :enumFieldList)" And enum field is defined in MyEntity as: @Enumerated(EnumType.STRING) @Column(nullable = false) @Index private MyEnumType enumField; And MyEnumType is defined as: public enum MyEnumType { VALUE1, VALUE2, VALUE3, VALUE4 } and I call: #1 2013-10-02 04:31 Hi, I have a case where I have a JPQL query like: "select o from MyEntity o WHERE (enumField IN : ...

javax.persistence.LockModeType

Lock modes can be specified by means of passing a LockModeType argument to one of the javax.persistence.EntityManager methods that take locks (lock, find, or refresh) or to the Query.setLockMode() or TypedQuery.setLockMode() method.(Enum of JPA)

Missing Data on Retrieval (0, null values)

I try  to export all Objects in an Flatfile-Hiearchy (.csv). But only the first exported Table contains all necessary Data. Most of the others  contains all  Object-Rows', but most Values of the Columns are missing. With a  em.clear() inside the Loop, all tables are exported correctly but the Enity-Keys do not match. I can't get the point - what am i doing wrong?   emf = Persistence.createEntityManagerFactory(dbFile); em = emf.createEntityManager(); ... design. For example, using one entity class with various parameters (including map of attributes) to represent similar objects, when ...

Internal exception

Hello. We got the following stacktrace. Can you explain me what this internal exception means and why it was thrown? It only happens when the entities are enhanced. Best regards BTC ES   Bug Version: 2.7.1 Priority: Critical Status: Closed Replies: 3 Type:  Bug ...

InternalException caused by OOM: Metaspace

Our java server app using objectDB threw this mistake. Looks like due to OutOfMemory exception, but the app was running with -Xmx12G and before the mistake there was used 1,6G from that heap. Although Metaspace can happen independently on the heap usage I believe. Stacktrace follows: Bug Version: 2.5.5 Priority: Normal Status: Closed Replies: 1 Type:  Bug ...

Class loading problem with private packages in OSGi environment

Our Business Objects are the JPA entities. We develop our product domain driven. This means we have several domains. Each domain is split into business layer and persistence layer (others are not relevant here). Per domain and per layer, we have an OSGI bundles. The business layer should have no dependency down (an exception is the dependency to the ObjectDB for the enhanced entities).  The persistence Layers have a dependency to the business layer and to the central DataAccess Layer. #1 2015-02-05 07:46 Our Business Objects are the JPA entities. Server closes if large query runs out of memory

We are using ObjectDB in production, and have found what we thing to be a serious problem:  the objectdb server can run out of memory and stop if a query deals with too many objects. This isn't the behaviour we expected for a product that we want to use to deliver 24/7 high-volume data collection. ObjectDB surely has some idea of the sizes of objects that it persists and retrieves, and so should be able to fail safely if it finds too many objects being retrieved to fit into memory. There must be some alternative to crashing! #1 2014-08-06 00:27 We are using ObjectDB in production, and have found what we thing to be a serious problem:  the objectdb ser ...

Attempt to open a non existing file '/tmp/objectdb_xxxx/SortQueryItr_6.mrg'

Hi, I came across an error - but i have not been able to create a simple reproducible case - the error does not happen often and does not happen always -  Let me explain: 1/ I run 5 java applications at the same time on one machine - each application is using an ODB file (each one is using a different one). Basically each application does a sorted query ( qqq = em.createQuery("SELECT bk FROM OBN bk ORDER BY bk.time ASC", OBN); ) 2/ after a little while - some of the applications throws this error message: ... properties before accessing ObjectDB in your code or as parameters to the JVM, and post an update about the results. ...

Explorer in 2.3

First, the new Explorer in ObjectDB is fantastic! This is exactly what we've needed - an easy way to do ad-hoc JPQL queries and navigate through the results and even make small changes to primitive data and Strings. After playing with it for a while, here is a list of additional features I'd love to have: 1. Export of selected data: a. Simple - Select a range of cells or a column header and copy text to the clipboard or save to a file (csv, html, etc..). (There appear to be copy menu options, but I cannot get them to work.) ... health a. Show actual running values for all parameters in objectdb.conf (size, threads, query-cache, memory usage, etc...) ...
