Objectdb Server Mode set up with glassfish

Hi I'm new to Java, glassfish and objectdb, so please forgive my ignorance. I have a glassfish server working with the embeded mode of objectdb. I now want to set up objectdb in server mode. I have run the server.exe but I don't know what to do next ?!  Which jar far do I need to include in my project ? How do I configure my persitence.xml file ? Do I need to set up something in Glassfish ?   Thanks Paul Newman ... > <properties > <property name = "javax.persistence.jdbc.url" value = "objectdb://localhost/my.odb" /> <property name = "javax.persistence.jdbc.user" value = "admin" ...

newbie - lots of exeptions

Hi  I'm very new to objectdb . I have bought a server and really want to use it. Our code works well with eclipselink and postgresql - until we stress it which is why I'm trying to get objected to work.   realy wierd things are going on ... we are using hessian to connect our remote clients to glass fish and invoke methods there (fine with postgresql) . here is our log (part of it at least .... exceptions are happening all the time when we're working with objected). ... > <properties > <property name = "javax.persistence.jdbc.url" value = ... /> <property name = "javax.persistence.jdbc.user" value = "admin" /> <property name = "javax.persistence.jdbc.password" value = "admin" ...

Feature suggestion: auto-detection of entities via persistence.xml extension

I am encountering problems (complexities) with EntityManager registration of entities across multiple modules in a multi-module Maven project. I have a  entities under many different paths in many different modules, and frequently evolving/changing. JPA2 persistence.xml does not seem to have support for wildcards under the <class> field. Apparently Hibernate has an autodetection extension system: hibernate.archive.autodetection https://docs.jboss.org/hibernate/entitymanager/3.6/reference/en/html/configuration.html ... classes and Hibernate mapping XML files --> <property name = "hibernate.archive.autodetection" value = "class, hbm" /> <property name = "hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto" value = "validate" ...
