Server connection management

The server does not appear to release broken connections. My typical development pattern is to keep reloading my war file in tomcat until the permgen space runs out, and then I kill and restart tomcat. After a few days of this, the server stops responding, and I see the following in the server logs: #1 2011-04-06 14:16 The server does not appear to release broken connections. evictAll() behavior

I'm writing a multi-user drawing tool, using objectdb as the central store.  When a user press F5, I want to pick up all the changes from the database.  So, I call evictAll() in the following ways: pmf.getDataStoreCache().evictAll();  // the factory pm.evictAll();                                 // the persistence manager A couple of questions about this: 1. the first evictAll() seems to be clearing the L2 cache -- is this correct 2. the evicts only work when they are done inside a transaction -- is this specified in the JDO spec? #1 2010-12-08 23:57 I'm writing a multi-user drawing tool, using objectdb as the central store.  When a user press F5, I want to ...

Failover from Master to Slave

Good morning! I am interested in ObjectDB for a client project I am currently working on. In order to evaluate your tool I would like to know if your product has the ability to failover from a Master Database to a Slave Database and then recover back to the master when the master comes back online. I don't see any documentation about automatic failover.   Thanks Rich   #1 2014-02-19 18:44 Good morning! I am interested in ObjectDB for a client project I am currently working on.
