Indexing a field results in internal Exception

I have an application that I have been converting from JPA/MySQL to JDO/ObjectDB and I have hit a problem with indexing. An index on a String field is required to give good performance but if I add the @Index annotation to the field I eventually end up with an ObjectDB internal exception.  This is reproducible, as is the program running to completion (slowly) if I remove the @Index annotation.  Is there anything I can look for that might result in this exception? #1 2013-04-21 20:40 I have an application that I have been converting from JPA/MySQL to JDO/ObjectDB and I have hit a problem with in ...

InternalException during producer/consumer scenario

Hi, I'm trying to use objectdb in a producer/consumer scenario. Producer threads put message objects into a table while consumer threads remove the objects based on age, priority, etc. There are 2 main motivations for using objectdb for this purpose rather than a queue or similar data structure: 1) The consumer can select the "next" object based on a range of potentially complex criteria. 2) The number of objects produced can be potentially exceed available memory so can be held on disk within the objectdb file. Slow searching with two indexes

I'm running queries on a large database (tens of millions of objects), and I'm running into a performance problem using two indexes.  An entity I'm querying has two indexed fields - one is the primary key (id) and so is different for each object, and the other is an object reference that only has a few tens of different values.   When I query by just the primary key, it's (of course) extremely fast, but when I also query using the other key, queries can take minutes.... a full scan. Does it run fast if the ORDER BY is removed? ObjectDB Support ObjectDB - Fast Object ... 10 results - 460384 milliseconds. If ORDER BY is removed, the queries run very fast ...
