Once served to JSF page via @EJB query bean, many list fields are null (but same query ok after fresh persist in @PostConstruct)

I have marked this as CRITICAL because although there probably is no database integrity problem, the inability to robustly query relationship fields in a web application renders the ObjectDB system seemingly useless. objectdb-2.2.5_10 NetbeansIDE6.9.1 Glassfish3.01 client-server mode. odb file written to db-files/greendesk/greendesk.odb (see persistence.xml), copy of odb output attached. ... and persisting many Element objects gives expected results, but the same query performed later form a served JSF page via a ... the ownedElements list, which gives the expected results (corresponds with the database, too, see screenshot attached): ... of the indexTest.xhtml output with a table of the query results attached. Eager fetch is properly set.And we still found that the storage is stable when we not use generic, such as "private List users = new ArrayList();" instead of "private List<User> users = new ArrayList<User>();".   The code about entity and fetch is: #1 2011-11-22 12:19 Hi, thanks very much for your helpful software. The only similar examples I can find in the docs involve a join query - but my list isn't in the database - and the MEMBER OF operator doesn't seem to do what I want (although I may be using it incorrectly! ... an empty set?   List<Prez> results ; TypedQuery<Prez> prezs = em. createQuery ( ... asList ( 1 , 3 ) ) ; results = prezs. getResultList ( ) ; (Prez ...
