[Explorer] Editing Database Files

Some features of ObjectDB 1 Explorer have not been implemented yet in the new Explorer of ObjectDB 2. The new Explorer of ObjectDB 2 is currently a viewer rather than editor, and database files are always opened in read only mode. The ability to create new database objects and edit existing database object has to be reimplemented in the ObjectDB 2.... user to run an ad-hoc JPQL query, and then browse/edit the results. This would be incredibly useful. Thanks. ...

ORDER BY problem, when String starts with language specific character

Dear all, I have a problem with ORDER BY clause. I have a simple query: select u from User u order by u.name When the name starts with "normal/english" character, records are ordered correctly. But when it starts with language specific character like 'Č', these records are placed after records with normal charaters. So records with 'Č' are after 'Z', but this is not correct, because 'Č' is between 'C' and 'D'. #1 2011-06-23 09:24 Dear all, I have a problem with ORDER BY clause. Server out of memory exceptions

I've started to get memory exceptions on objectdb instances running as a server. The objectdb log reports this as: ... Other caches (page caches of the 2 other databases, query results caches, etc.) consume additional memory, so server side ... rerun the test after setting the cache (page & results) size to 0mb. At first it looked ok but when I bumped up the msg size ...
